Hi Yi Zhao. Thanks for another excellent lesson. I find that I learn faster and more accurately if we can see your face making the pronunciation of the words. Just a thought!

Hi Roger! Thank you very much for your suggestion! Actually, I have been thinking about wether I should show my face in the videos or not since I started my channel (I am still searching for the style for my channel). I have been thinking wether students focus better with just audio or better with video. For myself, I feel I focus better with just audio and sometimes I think a teacher's face might be a distraction. I like efficiency, so I want my videos to be as efficient as possible. But of course, everyone learns differently. I think I will try another style in the future--more casual and less editing, more like a friend talking rather than a teacher teaching. But that style is difficult to be super efficient I think, so I will try and see.

Thanks for your reply Yi Zhao. I don't know if you can receive the BBC iPlayer app in PRC but there was a programme on 28 Mar called 'The Eyes Have It' which centres on the subject. It is (apparently!) called the McGurk Effect and there's some stuff on RUclips about it..........you may like to take a look. Kind regards.
