    Single-player, built in the Forest-plateau region of the map (#5). (Singleplayer, so not worried about PvP raids) Absolutely love this area. I know the video is older but for anyone watching and thinking of building in this area:
    Pros not listed in the video:
    Telith's island is full of lotus flowers and bear cubs
    Following the aqueduct south (till you reach the wall that separates the Highlands and the Desert/Savanna), will yield a ton of iron (in one spot)
    North of the location is a spawn for foals
    Elk King spawns nearby if you're after thick hide and exotic meat
    A bit north there's a frost-wolf cub spawn (Freya's Hovel, also a T4 archer) and North-west there's a large area where regular wolf cubs spawn
    There's an area nearby the plateaus where a direwolf spawns. Next to it 3 nordheimrs will spawn along the lake (have found t4 thralls there) It's also not too far from New Asagarth (I'd still build a Wheel of Pain closer though, just in case)
    On the path leading to Jhil's Roost, Rotbranch has a chance to spawn there if you're after skeleton keys
    Cons not listed in the video:
    The hike for brimstone/meteors isn't fun
    No aloe nearby, save for the Oasis where the King Rhino spawns
    Not that close to any Gossamer
    Rains constantly and the interior of your base will look soaking wet even if you have a perfectly good roof
    Lots of wolves unless you build a couple structures in the right areas
    Sorry for the long list, but this has been my base location ever since I started my single-player character and I thought I'd provide as many details as possible for anybody thinking of setting up base there in a PVE/Private server.

    Just a tip, if you build in the valley where starmetal lands, it will NOT block meteors from landing there and they WILL demolish your building if they hit.

      THANKYOU For this comment --- There has been MUCH debate over this but I've yet to see footage or hear firsthand proof. If you happen to catch some on camera please please please get it to me somehow.

      ENB OmniGaming I don't have video but I do have a screenshot of my own base with the meteor sitting right in front of it after it took out half the building. Also it was in T1, but I imagine meteors are god level when it comes to taking out T3.

      I built an outpost just north of the mounds. Get hit and wrecked quite often. Fun to watch them come in Though. Working on getting a religious bubble. Wonder if that will work? Anyone know?

    Number 3 is exactly where I build my base, and where I wanted to since seeing the map preview. The plateau totally stuck out to me. The views are pretty killer.

    A Question about no.2 base, how are you gonna prevent meteor hitting you?

    • @ENBOmniGaming
      @ENBOmniGaming  6 лет назад +2

      To be fair, you don't. Maybe that should have been a con !? Lol. But on the flip side, if its a big enough base, a few meteors shouldn't be too hard to fix, and you will control all the star metal.

    • @manfallout91
      @manfallout91 6 лет назад

      I still kinda confuse where should I build, I'm been planning to build around east of the Frozen Temple because there a cave allow me to direct access to the volcano to get lot of brimstone and demon blood out the rock monsters but I'm afraid getting hit by the meteor. So do you thing I should build my base a little south of Dragon Mouth or continue next to frozen temple ? I been dying to build a frozen castle.

    How do you reach the 4th spot? New to the area and think I'm not finding the sweet spot you can climb up to.
    Also #3. It's a nice spot BUT there's 4 ways into it, not 2 like you say.
    3rd way in in the path from that upper ledge you showed off. It leads to a hillside with lots of iron and a small ruins.
    4th is also on that upper ledge but you have to climb through a narrow gap. It leads to a ledge that sits right above the rear exit you showed.
    Almost no one think's to seal up that 4th way in, and I've climbed in through it on sooo many bases and made clean getaways it's silly.
    The base I made in that spot just seals up all but the upper ledge entry way and that crawl space with foundations 5 thick so you're wasting a LOT of explosives to get through. The main entry is the crawl space, and theres an enforced rear entry way that is isolated from the main base to drag thralls to.

    • @kaminoagent4034
      @kaminoagent4034 7 лет назад

      IronBlockGames He didn't mean 2 entrances total, he meant 2 for that particular stretch of the cave he was in.

  • @LovingTinha
    @LovingTinha 7 лет назад +4

    #6 is only good in single player, in official pvp all the bases around that area have been heavily raided, nobody survives that area unless they are Alpha Tribe
    #5 bad in all regards worse than number 6
    #4 not bad for a base that you only intend on using as a backup fort/bank, but for day to day gathering or travel to and from locations aren't good if this is your only base.
    #3 this spot is all around pretty good, you can do everything from here. But the no build areas are a pain
    #2 good for an outpost, but not a full main base
    #1 is a solid spot
    There are 3 other spots that weren't mentioned in this video, but i think are better than at least 4 of the spots on the video.

    • @ENBOmniGaming
      @ENBOmniGaming  7 лет назад

      Maybe you should make a video of your favorite build spots then ? I'd watch it...

    • @serinn6814
      @serinn6814 7 лет назад

      Thank You lol #5 is good, I built it in a 30 player server haven't been raided for 3 weeks. It has a lot of iron up the mountain which is where I built. I always break my pickaxe from just 1 trip. Right next to loads of deer you can kill for exotic meat which fills your hunger 80%. Also not too far from a lake but I still made a well. So I don't know what your talking about

    • @serinn6814
      @serinn6814 7 лет назад

      Thank You also there is a camp near where I live so I can just go for like a 10 sec run and get xp or quick thralls to be able to secure my base

    • @serinn6814
      @serinn6814 7 лет назад

      Thank You why would your even watch this video if you already knew? Or did you just watch the video so you can criticize and hate

    • @LovingTinha
      @LovingTinha 7 лет назад +4

      Etheroo wasn't hating or criticising, was simply sharing my knowledge and comparing it to the video maker, was looking to see if I'd learn something new.
      Not my fault that I know better spots and have more knowledge and experience on better locations and good reasons why most of the video locations are inferior. Besides with recent update to explosive jars, a lot of this has changed to an extent.
      The video is basic enough introduction to a new player. Also considerations of how active or big your clan is can impact heavily what makes a good spot, as well as what kind of server you are in. My experience has been in servers with at least two active alpha tribes raiding everyone, and having survived all their attempts on my bases, that makes me uniquely qualified to comment from that perspective. And I have seen how those spots have faired against strong offline raids.

    I think my base spot is better than all of these. I'm literally built on top of the moutain behind the first snow temple (not the frost temple) and its high up and flat. Not visible. Access to resources except star metal at the moment. No one on my server even knows we exist.
