  • The Orlando Magic had everything rolling in the first half of their Game 7 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Then the bottom dropped out and the Magic found themselves heading home instead of on to the second round. Despite how proud everyone is for this season, Game 7 undoubtedly left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. That does not take away from what this team accomplished and what still lies ahead.

The glaring weaknesses in this team is as follows:
    1. SG- with Suggs as the PG this position is non-existent on offense. In a league where scoring is as all-time highs, you cannot have a backcourt position be a liability on offense.
    2. Center- Wendell Carter does not show on pick-and-roll and is not a shot blocker. You have to have one or the other. On top of that you cannot feed him in the post. Get a player similar to a Jared Allen/Robert Williams III for defense and lobs.
    3. Shooting- at ALL cost get at least to shooters to surround Banchero and Wagner.

Other than OKC and Minnesota the Magic are definitely the best young team in the NBA. They are sooo big and rugged. Their defense is nasty and they have a budding superstar in Bachero. And good role players in Suggs and Wagner and the other big guy his name just slipped out of my mind. They have 4 guys almost 7 foot. And Suggs is no joke. They are a matchup nightmare. I’m a diehard Cavs fan. The Cavs are a very good team. If Orlando can get some more shooting they can easily challenge for the east crown. They would give Boston a run for their money this year. Boston is soft and small. Orlando would physically beat the shit out of them.

@@AndyKapp im definitely feeling Claxton, he is aggresive and an athletic shot blocker, Tyus is small man, if he could be a menace with steals n such then it could work, any legit shot blocker opens up the door for a player like Tyus, we dont mind taking a hit at pg defensively if they get funneled into the paint and have to deal with a shot blocker. Buddy heild is good but thats taking shine away from suggs and i need suggs starting. Hes a starter, a 3nD guy. Franz if he were to
Makw 1-2 more 3’s a game drastically improves his 2nd optioness. I say stick with Franz but get him on a team friendlier deal, maybe 4 year 100/110 million

The answer is duh he has proven he can be that 2nd guy we wouldn’t even be playing 7 games if not for his 34 pt game. We need to get rid of Gary and maybe Wendell cuz he can barely hang with these 7 foot something centers

    • @AndyKapp
      @AndyKapp Месяц назад

@@davidcarlos4350 Suggs is another version of Marcus Smart. And we saw how much better the Celtics offense looked with a legit PG.
Suggs makes awful decisions with the basketball and is very inconsistent as a 3 pt shooter. Add to that he can’t score off the dribble.
Magic would be better with him coming off the bench.
The offense would be better with a true PG. Fultz proved that in this series. A true PG could get the ball to Paolo in the post, where he did work in game 3.
Not saying the trio I suggested would make the Magic a championship contender, but it would put them only a piece away imo.

Rockets fan here listen you guys got nothing to be ashamed of you guys had a great season and you guys went seven games in the first round against the Cavs and almost probably forced Donovan Mitchell out of Cleveland.
Paolo is the truth he only going to get better and Franz is a solid number two his problem his needs to be a better 3 point shooter.
You guys have the length and size but you guys are missing some shooters and a point guard.
Malik Monk is out there Buddy Hield you could trade for Jordan Clarkson but who knows what Utah is doing. Maybe Klay Thompson is an option. But either way you guys need shooters.
As for PG I would probably call the Hawks to see what they would want for either Trae Young or Dejonate Murray. Murray would probably be a little bit of a better of a fit since he a good defender and he probably wouldn’t cost as much to get then Trae Young.
Other option is probably trade for Tyus Jones he only 27 so he fits the timeline and he would definitely help calm down and stabilize the offense and take the pressure off of Paolo.
If you guys address those issues you guys are soon going to be contenders.

Great year sucks Mosley had to sell it by going full blown Tebow Time in the 3rd with Markelle.
Especially since Boston is beatable without Porzingis and we won the regular season series against the Pacers and Knicks.
Reminds me exactly of the 12 point 3rd quarter collapse in Dallas when he thought Anthony Black would slow down Luka.
Can’t wait to watch another bottom 20 offense next year when Mose runs his Markelle 2.0 experiment trying to turn Anthony Black into a starting NBA guard.
Oh wait maybe he’ll be held accountable for his bankrupt offensive philosophy and be forced to start a free agent guard who plays worse defense than Cole and makes more than twice as much. We’ll see how many grenades he can knock down cuz Paolo and Franz cant pass. Your superstar had an inverted assist to turnover ratio this series.
Then maybe we can all admit that the reason they wouldn’t play Cole isn’t because of defense and it’s because the org wanted to save money on Franz who scores much better with Cole because he finally has space for his wide angle drives.
Fingers crossed they trade my guy to a coach that isn’t allergic to offense and I don’t have to read a bunch of comments from illiterate Floridians who don’t even like basketball.
