This is EXCELLENT! I omitted the corn, only used 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 can more of broth and 1/2 cup of whipping cream along with the cream cheese. I used Natasha’s toppings - avocado, cilantro, shredded cheese, sour cream and a squeeze of lime. It is a keeper! So flavorful and not difficult at all.

    1/2 cup of carrots
    No... lime juice
Salt, (too salty with chicken broth didn't have low sodium broth 😢)
    Corn,
    Or tomatoes.
It's was really delicious. Ty for sharing.

That’s what we did when making this recipe. Garlic cloves, chives, onion powder, parsley, dill, thyme and/or sage, and oregano. It’ll change your life. Add it to everything. Use fresh ingredients when possible, but the powdered stuff in your cabinet works too. Most of the herbs I just mentioned can live long, comfortable lives in a garden box or flower bed, so you’ll always have some ready. If you just have to have that artificial umami, you can just straight up add MSG, AKA Accent.

Made this recipe tonight but since I am watching my sodium intake I used a few items that had no salt added (like no salt added diced tomatoes which I then added 2 tbsp of fire roasted chilis, unsalted chicken stock, 1 tsp of the ranch seasoning, 1 tsp kosher salt). I had to add the cream cheese as is because I could not find a low sodium cream cheese. It was so good. I could only imagine the original recipe. Thanks.

I made it exactly as Natasha said and my wife especially loved it.
I have been watching Natasha for at least a minute and have made many of her dishes with much fanfare in my house.
I will be making this dish again!! Only this time I will use Gruyère cheese and add an extra can of beans. It seemed like more meat than beans. Maybe it was the size of my breasts but I think it could use more beans. Maybe a can of red kidney beans for color…?
Regardless it was awesome and I look forward to making this again!

@ Natashas Kitchen, very nice recipe young lady & looks delicious & we use ro-tel's also. 2 tips for you & viewers on the beans, there is a jarred brand of beans called Randall's beans, they are pre-cooked & come in 2 sizes, 32 or 64 ounce jars in 3 varieties, great northern, navy, pinto, & we use the great northern beans in our white chili, Randall's beans are available at most grocers in the canned aisle. Also, if beans give anyone gas/flatuent problems , for this amount of chili add 1 tsp of sugar & you won't taste any sweetness, if diabetic use 1 tbls of baking soda ( not powder) don't add any salt til the end,as the baking soda is salty. Sugar works best, but both work. I hope that helps someone, plus I like a can of mixed greens( mustard & turnip) & cornbread on the side. God bless everyone.

You can actually use canned chicken. the way to mask the flavour is to place drain and rinse chicken and then place in a ziplock and "marinate" it if you will in say buttermilk with a bit of olive oil and whatever spices you want.. Canned chicken is best in enchiladas BUT in a pinch, in soup too!

Canned chicken is never good and you can make shredded chicken in a crockpot or on the stove… so WHY resort to canned?!

I made this recipe last night….my hubby and I both really liked it! 💕. Next time I would omit the salt though because the cream cheese adds a lot of salt and I would rather let folks salt it to their taste! TFS! My next recipe to try will be your chicken pot pie! 😊

We make ours with diced jalapeños (not rotel) and no cream cheese. Oh and no ranch packet- Never thought of it!!
    I think yours sounds better..
Extra cumin helps a lot, and a little black pepper.

I made this today and its easy and delicious. I didnt add the lime juice since the can of diced tomatoes are a little sour. Also i cut the cream cheese in cubes but it didnt melt completely, they were white small lumps left. Not a big deal, but not esthetic.

It should have melted completely but good to know that you still enjoyed it.
