In terms of the nails if you really want to do them every day I would not use gel because it is hard to remove and damaging to nails to soak with acetone or to scrape. Im Not sure if you’re just saying you enjoy it so much you feel like doing them every day tho. I have been doing my own nails since I was in junior high school and they always turn out as good as a salon. Just lots of practice and a steady hand which you obviously have. Highly recommend. On the editing, I feel bcos the video was a tad longer the editor prioritised the cohesiveness of your speech vs showing you do the eyeshadow look. It was a bit choppy with no pauses in your speech which makes it feel a bit manic sounding. Love the video nonetheless

omg i love sydney grace!!!! I have the northern winter palette and it's so pretty edit i also really love the fenty gloss sticks, i paired a deep plum water stain w/high'biscus and it was such a good combo

This makeup look is absolutely gorgeous!!! I haven’t gotten excited about lip products in a while and the Fenty….OMG!!! My daughter is getting married this Friday. We couldn’t get an appointment ANYWHERE to get our makeup done, except for Ulta in another town! I wasn’t too excited about Ulta, bc they’re just not my favorite place to purchase makeup, but they have a lot of Fenty. I know what I’ll b asking for on my lips for the wedding. Btw…it’s an August wedding in S.C. We r all going to b dying of heatstroke. At least my lipliner won’t melt off though. My daughter & her fiancé had to have the date 8/16/24. Thanks for the great video.
If you want to do your own nails, you should look into gel x extensions. I’ve done my own acrylic, SNS (dip), gel, and hard gel. The gel x extensions are the easiest because they are pre shaped. And then I just paint them with gel polish. And they are super easy to soak off.
I probably won't ever get extensions because I like my shorter hair & my hair is so thick naturally, but I love that they have ones which work for curls now because I remember you used to have to always style your hair everyday with heat if you had them
this reminding me that I have a green rabanne palette I picked up in italy, because we don't have the brand in australia, and I'm so excited to use it. (when I haven't had an anaphylactic reaction the day before & don't have a rash on my face)
Why are all of the comments popping to the top about the editing and negative?? Have y’all ever recorded a video and tried editing 2-3 hrs of filming into a reasonable amount of time?? Probably not. Definitely good to give feedback, but PLEASE be considerate when you drop your opinions if you couldn’t film and edit a better video. :) (if you can talk, and love to talk about makeup, it’s SUPER easy to film for AWHILE! Sometimes it’s hard to make your sentences make sense when you try to edit it down). -sincerely a subscriber and makeup lover annoyed by the amount of negative comments about the jump cuts. Julia, I just wanna say that since you moved I feel like your personality has just bounced right back! If I recall right, the move was kinda based for a mental change? (To put it simply I know change was the primary reason) but GOD DAMN this change looks good on you! Not saying that you have been espresso depresso or anything (and no shade if you have I am too) but I have definitely noticed a slight difference in recent months. Not a bad one, just, a more flat energy Julia. Happy goofy Julia is who you deserve to be.
I truly enjoy the extras, for me most of them make me smile/laugh because most of them tend to show off Julia’s great sense of humor and personality. But I know everyone likes different things.
I can see where people are coming from on the editing - this is something that started happening with manny’s videos and it started to lose the true conversational tone. you and manny both have such funny personalities and facial expressions, which is harder to pick up on when all the small nuances of speech are edited out. also… PLEASE go through a natural/curly hair phase!! I am feeling the same way with my hair right now and I gotta know what your recommendations/favs end up being
