I agree with you about the Telescopic mascara. I do not understand why people like it. I was really surprised by MAC's fail with the liquid lip. They are usually so spot on and reliable with their lip products. Your eye look was beautiful!
The Laura mercier ultra blur powder was very dry and cakey for me. The concealer picks are odd to me, as those three are concealers I never hear anyone talk about. Surprised to not see something more popular like the Natasha Denona or Huda one
I put zero weight to Allure's choices. The website itself is literally just a shop, the only copy indicating a review just reads like the product description from Sephora. And the quotes from people who allegedly tried the products whose jobs arent even testing makeup. One of them indicated the person doesnt even wear makeup but it was nice to try some for a change. Like, what? Thank you for all the work you do, Im not surprised you dont like so many of the products since you actually have extensive knowledge of other products to compare to. It is truly appreciated.

I'd like to take a moment to vouch for the loreal telescopic mascara, I use the waterproof version, put on my makeup at 7am every day, scrape off most of the product otherwise it can get a little clumpy. Listen I have the longest straightest lashes known to man and this mascara gives me super curled long creepy-doll lashes that stay curled and just as applied when I take it off at 10pm every day, it last through my work day, gym and a little crying sesion at the car flawlessly. P.S loooooooove the eyelook its giving winx fairy magic.
"I don't know where it goes but it should be on my eyes". That's how I feel about my makeup daily (on my combo/oily skin). It should be somewhere on my face! And not just in the creases of my eyelids 🤣 at the end of day.

Always love watching your videos Julia! Really how could rare beauty liquid blush not win best liquid blush? They have all the colors, all the skin tones covered and they don’t budge. I am a blush freak and I have Almost every cream and liquid formula out there, including the em cosmetics. But really the rare beauty formula and staying power and range of colors are the best.

Took me a little while to figure out, but the Elf poreless primer (both versions) caused me to breakout. It was like tiny little clogged pores. I quite using both primers and it went away. Too bad cause I did like the priming effect.

Not to mention I live in Southeast Asia so there are quite a few amazing brands that fairly recently gained popularity that aren’t available here, like makeup by Mario, melt cosmetics, glossier and such
Aw man I actually like the Bobbi brown concealer. I put it on the back of my hand and dab it under my eyes then use the givenchy powder and haven’t had an issue with creasing. But it did seem like a random pick with all the new concealers released this year
Can you try the mascara again once it dries out more? I have it and I’m on the fence. I’ve been using it a few weeks now. Trying to make it work and wonder what you think in a couple weeks! Can’t wait to hear this mysterious push up bra story lol 😂
I let mine dry out for a month and I liked it way more. At first i really thought it was a flop but it’s been my everyday for a few months now. I prefer the original telescopic though, I also had to wait a month for that one to dry out lol

The Bobby Brown concealer is the only product I’ve ever bothered to return!!! It’s awful beyond awful. Funnily it looked great in Ulta where I swatched it.
Every video I've seen that liquid eyeliner had the same issues you have had. One other influencer was an older MUA, and the bleeding in the lines was very bad, and it was also leaky around the tip.
can you give us tips for using loose powder correctly? I have some great options but no matter what I do to use them, they end up making my face look dehydrated and total cake. I dont think is the brand as I have tried several high end options, but it looks awful on me
