I studied at the AUB., got both my doctorates there.
His man knows nothing. He has no clue. Did he forget the ground invasion without the support of the USA, in the 80s? Or was he a tail-tucker. As a child, I was sniped in our apartment, and our house in the mountains obliterated three times.
This man knows nothing or of he does is playing it safe so he and his family aren’t eventual targets.
    Let’s be real;
Buy the book, “The War on Lebanon”, or; “Shot Twice”, where it details in the three national languages of Lebanon, (French, English and Arabic) the start and how the Palestinian “war” was a diving board into expanding regional contra and had it not been for the government elect party of Hezbollah, which was formed as a necessity to push back the invasion of ground air and sea, we would not be alive today.
Did he forget the attacks on the AUB? The deaths of professors? Of the near miss of my aunty who was a professor there at the time then worked for decades with UNICEF?
    He’s a disgrace.

History says otherwise Caanan has been conquered and controlled by various empires throughout history. Here is a list of the most notable ones:
Egyptian Empire (circa 15th-13th centuries BCE): The Egyptians under various Pharaohs, including Thutmose III, controlled the land of Canaan (which included parts of modern-day Israel).
Assyrian Empire (8th century BCE): The Neo-Assyrian Empire conquered the northern kingdom of Israel in 722 BCE.
Babylonian Empire (6th century BCE): The Neo-Babylonian Empire conquered the southern kingdom of Judah in 586 BCE, destroying Jerusalem and the First Temple.
Persian Empire (6th-4th centuries BCE): The Achaemenid Empire, under Cyrus the Great, allowed the Jews to return from the Babylonian exile and rebuild the Temple.
Macedonian Empire (4th century BCE): Alexander the Great conquered the Persian Empire, including the land of Israel, in 332 BCE.
Ptolemaic Kingdom (late 4th-early 2nd centuries BCE): Following Alexander's death, his empire was divided, and the Ptolemaic dynasty of Egypt controlled Israel for a period.
Seleucid Empire (2nd century BCE): The Seleucid dynasty, another successor of Alexander's empire, took control from the Ptolemies.
Hasmonean Dynasty (2nd-1st centuries BCE): Though not an external conqueror, the Jewish Hasmonean dynasty established independence following the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucids.
Roman Empire (1st century BCE-4th century CE): The Romans conquered the Hasmonean kingdom, incorporating it into the Roman Empire. This period included significant events like the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE.
Byzantine Empire (4th-7th centuries CE): After the division of the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire controlled the region.
Islamic Caliphates (7th-11th centuries CE): The Rashidun, Umayyad, and Abbasid Caliphates successively controlled the region after the Muslim conquests.
Crusader Kingdoms (11th-13th centuries CE): The Crusaders established the Kingdom of Jerusalem and other states in the region during the Crusades.
Ayyubid Dynasty (12th-13th centuries CE): Led by Saladin, the Ayyubids recaptured Jerusalem from the Crusaders.
Mamluk Sultanate (13th-16th centuries CE): The Mamluks controlled the region after defeating both the Crusaders and the Mongols.
Ottoman Empire (16th-20th centuries CE): The Ottomans ruled the land of Israel from 1517 until the end of World War I in 1917.
British Empire (20th century CE): Following the defeat of the Ottomans, the British controlled the area under the British Mandate for Palestine from 1920 to 1948, leading up to the establishment of the modern state of Israel.
Each of these empires left a significant mark

Replacement Theology to support the view that the Church is the new Israel:
      Galatians 3:28-29:
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise."
      Romans 2:28-29:
"For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from God."
      Ephesians 2:11-13:
"Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called 'the uncircumcision' by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands- remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ."
      1 Peter 2:9-10:
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy."
Throughout history, many Arabs and other groups in the Middle East and North Africa embraced Christianity. The Copts in Egypt, for example, have a rich Christian heritage dating back to the apostolic age. The Amazigh people, including the esteemed theologian Augustine of Hippo, also accepted Christ and played significant roles in the early Church. In Syria, Saint John of Damascus stands as a testament to the deep Christian faith among the Arab population. These examples underscore the widespread acceptance of Jesus among diverse groups in the region, reflecting the inclusive and transformative nature of the new Israel, which is the Church.
Church has replaced Israel in God's plan and that Christians are now the new Israel. This theological perspective holds that the promises and covenants made to Israel in the Bible are now fulfilled in the Christian Church.
In addition to this, it's notable that many Arabs and other groups in the Middle East and North Africa accepted Christianity from its early days. For instance, the Copts in Egypt have a long Christian heritage, dating back to the apostolic age. Similarly, the Amazighs, including prominent figures like Augustine of Hippo, embraced Christianity and contributed significantly to its theological development. In Syria, Saint John of Damascus, another influential Christian theologian, exemplifies the deep roots of Christianity in the Arab world.

The bible also warns when the Jewish people insult God and use religion for their material benefit. Speaking as a Jew, the government in Israel is shameful, land stealers, have a superiority complex, and are cruel to the defenseless. Yeshua warned of these types.
