I don't think that's fair. He made it clear that he didn't want to marry Diana, but he was forced to choose a bride. Neither of them were happy in that marriage. People have decided to make Charles the bad guy because he is ugly and awkward and she is beautiful and charismatic. Nowadays it's common to say that the Royals destroyed Diana, but they forget, it was the media. The media amplified her pain 1000 times and ultimately killed her. The public who bought those newspapers, those magazines and watched the TV shows are just as guilty as Charles in Diana's unhappiness.

How can you tel if she found love in two months? I still have the same opinion for Dodi as I had in 1997: Diana was flirting with Dodi to make Charles jealous.That's why she staged the photos from France in Dodi's yacht.After we saw these photos in the news Diana died in the "car crash" in Paris.That was only 1 month after these staged photos.

I've just finished reading two books about her. Both from the inside as the first book I read was by Ken Wharfe, her PPO and the other Patrick Jephson her Private Secretary. Both spoke about her terrible mood swings, vindictiveness and said that the 'real' Diana was impossible. She behaved extremely badly in South Korea and she was deliberately doing it to ruin things for Charles. Please people, save your pity.
Diane Walker - I've read these 2 books as well - very refreshing to see people who liked Diana willing to admit she really wasn't perfect. I appreciate Diana had 'issues stemming from her childhood' - but she certainly fooled a lot of people

I remember this South Korea trip like it was yesterday. Diana was done with the fake smile, just to keep up appearances. She wore a disinterested attitude at every event. When they got home, the Queen ordered them to divorce.
Kim Coates - Diana didn't want to go to Korea - she waited until the last moment to approach the late Queen by which time it was far too late to make any changes - so this tour is Diana deliberately looking 'miserable' whenever she could - I think this triggered the decision for them to separate. @Susan Lockyer Diana got tired of being the pretty face that propped up the monarchy and her cheating husband. My biggest regret for her is that she stayed for her children and didn't leave Charles sooner.
She looks as though she is running through a horrible scenario in her mind. Most likely Charles had given her a lecture before and it drove it all home to her, like the last nail in a coffin as it were.
