Very nice video, the museum is very interesting indeed, I am from Mexico and I was very surprised to see two objects of Mexican origin in the museum, these are: A statue or religious image of the Virgin of Guadalupe and a "retablo" or "exvoto" (the last object is from Puebla, the city where i live). They are objects widely used within mexican folk religion and also by cunning folk people who here we call "curanderos" or "animeros" and "tiemperos/granizeros". The "retablo" or "exvoto" is a votive offering to a folk saint, it is a form of folk art too, that is made after said saint in question performs a miracle and then you make or have a painting made describing and telling the miracle that he performed for you as a form of gratitude and reaffirm your devotion to the saint.
I think it actually is but I’ll check the website there is so much here and we only had an hour and a half it’s partly why I captured as much as I did so I could read it all when I got home as well as make the video! I would like to go back and spend a bit more time.
I remember taking my newborn daughter 15y ago to Boscastle. We actually met the then high witch of Boscastle who put a silver coin behind my daughter's head in her pram!
Been going in there since I was a small child, from the mid seventies. It was much darker back then and quite scary for a child lol. I always remember they had a display of female naked manikins wearing masks surround a naked man with a goats head sitting on a throne, and the “women” were dipping babies into a black liquid and having them from a tree. It’s etched in my memory like a bad dream lol.
I loooove it👌. Thank you. I was in the jear of the flood there! The christ House was gone after an the witchcraft Museum help the neighbourhood.... in 5 days i com back❤... holiday
I went here back in the 80s, it's a lot more inviting now than it was back then. More than anything it was interesting, informative and insightful... It was also pretty dark, a bit creepy and even a little scary lol! It definitely seems more inviting now than it did back then. I remember seeing the two headed piglet, there seemed to be a lot of preserved deformed baby animals and similar. I would love to be able to go back now I'm older and it does seem more inviting now haha!
There are a lot of two headed animals at the last Tuesday society in London if your into that kind of thing, that one was bit spooky more than this Imo ! Would be so interesting to see the place in the 80 s as before the flood
I just went today and I took a picture of the horned god but my photo was blurred and there’s no live on it when every other photo was live so idk if that was a camera issue or if it might be haunted lol
I’m not sure I didn’t see it but I didn’t go very prepared to look for specific things and was on a bit of a time crunch would love to go back. There was a little section dedicated to him tho

I lived in Boscastle in the 80's we used to get in free because the lady knew us. Bit of a pain for her when we were in and out all day.
Also the Toth tarot by Crowley i wonder if its an original? This video is a total gem ❤

They have something very similar to that in the last Tuesday society museum in east London. Have a look at that video and see if you recognise them!
Haha me too I remember going in there. I was more scared of the piglet with two heads in a jar!
😂 cool
I remember that Pappy. I lived in Boscastle. I'm sure the display is still there.
Amazing place

Exactly where witches cats love to hang out
When I visit the old homeland I am going to make sure I visit. Gemma Gary is a great author if you want to learn more about the local witchcraft there

Orbs are not real. That was a photography problem. Other than that, love this!
Orbs are real
@@sherylrawson2592 You can believe that if you want too. There is no proof anywhere for those to be anything but dust.
@@sherylrawson2592 I see orbs all the time and even when I video my house
My mum donated the baphomet to the museum,
Oh wow no way ! Thanks for sharing that ❤️
Any working spells there? Working crystal balls? Asking for a friend.
I learnt some good curses 😅
No curse is good you must prey to God
U all need deliverance.

Very Harry Potterish.... Nice place
