I just discovered this band as I’m trying my best to find new Christian music and stay away from secular music. Happy to know there’s some Christians still making some really good music.
I remember discovering As Cities Burn too with SILYAYD, and just being blown away that “Christian music” like that existed. WATG is in that category as well.
Yeah it was only around the early-mid 2000s that good Christian metal and hardcore started to be made. Still, he would've had access to Project 86, Underoath, Beloved, Dead Poetic, etc at that time
