As a person who has frequented many a dark ride at Disneyland for years, Efteling's rides have a wondrous childlike charm all their own. They often remind me of European stop-motion animations of fairy tales. Kudos to their designers and engineers. :)
It literally smells like flowers in there... the real experience is SO magical! I was so lucky :o take me back!!!!
I would never want this ride to end! Those floating cities in the stars - wow! I can only imagine how wide-eyed I'd be if I got to see this as a child.
My all time favorite Efteling attraction! I could go on this a million times and I would probably still enjoy it. Also a fun fact: it smells like flowers inside the ride!

From what I've seen online, Efteling is the only non-Disney theme park I'd be excited to visit.

I live in the Netherlands and i gave been in the Efteling multiple times. The baron 1898 is also a great dive coaster!

It’s a very beautiful ride. I have been on it more than once. What you don’t notice in the video is that at the end you go in a kind of free fall down around that tree. Just like a kind of slow roller coaster. I love it.

Did you also know that:
at the Castles scene at 0.53 that the spires of the castles rotate, move up and down and bend tot te sides. You van only see it wen you really look at Them.
that is not a free fall at all, a free fall is a roller coaster drop, during the drop there is no gravity. baron 1898 has a free fall, but droomvlucht not.
Expedition Theme Parks did a history video on this suspended dark ride attraction not too long ago, and he mentioned rumors that people thought of the attraction as a roller coaster when their vehicles spiral downward toward the ground level near the end of the ride experience, when really its not. Anyway, @MarcoWintjens, I'm glad you like it.
The level of detail in this ride never fails to amaze me

Amazing Dark Ride! This actually puts Disney to shame lol, it's got so much charm, and the sets are truly amazing. Loved the Star Tunnel too, best effect of that sort I've ever seen.

This has to be one of the best darkrides in the world, everybody can experience it in their own way and there is no real storyline. You just fly through a world of fairytales and dreams.

I have been on this ride like 20 times, it never gets old. I live in the Netherlands and the Efteling is amazing. My favorite scene is the planet one.

This video doesn't let you experience the wonderful smells at this attraction . It's just magical. Transports you to the world of Elves and Trolls, like in a dream.

For everyone here not living in the Netherlands: come visit! The Efteling is a really fun and high quality theme park, and the most people that come love it. I have a funny story about Dream Flight. So, my dad, mom, brother and me went into this ride, and we wanted to sit in a vehicle together. The vehicles are officially for max 3 persons (i guess) but we tried it. I was on the side, but it was really, really tight. My legs where stuck and i could barely move. But you know, that's fine. Until there comes a part where the vehicle moves op and tilts. The weight of 3 persons pushes on me, And it really hurts. Good thing that this is a short lift, because i would be a pancake otherwise! Afterwards we can still laugh about it, of course, and we had a great day. I am a huge fan of this ride and the Efteling. So if you've read this whole comment: thank you and have a nice day!
Pay for me to visit and I gladly will. 😛 Some of us can't even afford to leave our towns, let alone the country. 😭

Truly amazing!! Reminds me of darkness ride when I was a kid & the owners of the park were passionate about the effort they put into keep their dark ride like you were entering a whole other universe. When you visit Holland skip Amsterdam and go to Kaatsheuvel to visit ‘De Efteling’.
I remember when I've been there! I went on that ride like 2-3 times because I loved the small lights in the tunnels so much xD

Efteling has a lot of dark rides! There's this one, Fata Morgana, Symbolica, Carnaval Festival (whichis geared more towards kids and is like an "It's a Small World" like ride and then there is a rollercoaster in the dark as well.
Whoa...this is a Dream Flight. Absolutely beautiful!! Though I loved Disney's Dream Flight back in the day, this absolutely deserves the title! I don't know why, but I am especially partial to ceiling track rides. Thank you for filming this beautiful piece of art!

This ride soundtrack is so beautiful/ fun with a overall soothing ambiance. As a Disneyland, Anaheim fan I can say this is comparable if not better then some of there dark rides.

This ride is SO charming! I could spend all day in the world it creates.
That loading area....how magical!
That area might look a bit shabby on purpose, to contrast the dream world within. On other rides, the builders pay a lot of attention to the entrance, the vehicles and even the waiting line, so that you slowly get drawn into a story. This ride is different. You get into an ordinary ski lift in an ordinary loading area, and a few seconds later you "wake up" in a fairy kingdom.

I stilllove it. Its the best and beautifullest themed ride i ever seen and rode. I hope they will never demolish that masterpiece of work. I already was really sad as i seen what they did in Epcot with imagination cause that also was such a beautifull Masterpiece.
Just watching the video made me feel like I was leaving the real world; must be enchanting in person.
It is, I ride this at least once a week and it never gets boring. I even fell asleep once cause of the calm music and the ambient sounds/lighting, we went 7 times a row😌
