Cause it's screen and cpu are not as good as for iphone 12 and over. It doesn't need to work as much as the others.
Well if the battery health is all over the place, then the results are completely irrelevant.
Replace them all, make sure to pick the batteries from reliable supplier (for example ifixit) and do 4 full cycles, only then you can test
Also make sure to enable dark mode, everyone nowadays has oled screen (except crappy XR and 11) and it saves battery.
For those us looking at the used market, this format is very useful...
It gives us real life insight on what to expect from different devices...
I far more inclined to get an 11 Pro Max now because I know the battery holds on for long even after the its health has taken a hit..

Yeah, Apple, putting a smaller battery on 14 ProMax compared to the 13 ProMax because Apple claims there efficiency will counter act or balance out, and even add an hour to the 14 ProMax battery life. But I still don’t see a difference in real life between the two phones from my perspective.

I tested it and got arround 9 hours with automatic brightness and with no gaming and I don’t know how this person even after gaming got arround 12 hours . my iphone xs's battry giving 5H despite i bought it 4 months ago with 100% battery health (replaced with a new one they said)
but since the day i bought it when goes below 20% stutter happens and also goes fast like hell to 13 % and all of a sudden shutdown at 13% !!
and now when you go to battery health it's on 83% while its cycle Charge count is only 120!
i didn't used my phone in charge for 4 month and always keep its percentage between 80 - 20 % and Keep the brightness in usually around 30 %
also about the peak performance capability it says: This iPhone unexpectedly shutdown because the battery was unable to deliver the necessary peak power...
well its bcz they replaced it with not original battery, i replace my battery on iphone 11 (not original) and i have the same problem then i go to apple to change to original battery and the problem is solved

Most people don’t game twice but once and I think if you remove gaming in the test and start including a WhatsApp Voice call or a call for 1 hour and a video call for 1 hour seems more realistic for most people and also safari / chrome for 1 hour instead of gaming and including Twitter too for 1 hour it’s currently a hot app

because xs max has good battery life compare to xr
even xs max has less battery health but even with that it perform around the same with xr with higher battery health
which means if you put them to the test with same battery health xs max would perform better.
