Great video Drew! This will definitely help motivate others!
Thank you! 🙌🙌
Nice work - thanks for the training ideas!
🙌
Very good!
thank you for the video
🙌🙌
sprints ARE crucial. Good vid
I agree, thank you 👊
We have one parking garage in Yellowknife, and if security didn't bust you, it's still mighty cold at -46°C. Hard on the lungs! I switch to xc skiing in the winter. I wish we had indoor facilities up here.
Great idea! This weekend I'm going to find a suitable car park.🤘
It’s a game-changer!
Thanks for sharing your bmx journey. Let’s see a bike check
Once I get my new bike I will 👊
That's why in Motocross and BMX the pros move to Florida or California. Year-round train. Cold weather certainly makes it harder to train.
I’m trying to get down to Florida. I’ll most likely be there next winter
Sure you've been to the track in West Palm beach. Open just about every day of the week.
Drew I am going to your clinic at the hill bmx
That’s awesome 🙌
Great fucking idea! Needed this, thank you.
🙌🙌
Hey Drew your videos are awesome. Do you focus on pulling up on your pedals or just pedaling as fast as you can?
Thank you! The smooth pedaling motion is pretty unnatural, so most of the feeling comes from repetition. I don’t really focus on much, but I would say it’s more towards focusing on speed than pulling.
What is the brand of the equipment you use to measure your speed ? Great video by the way 🙌🏼
Thanks! They’re timers from Browers
I wonder if seeing the car made you race to finish before they came up?
when doing sprints why don't you throw ur head forward like a gate??
I don’t focus on throwing my head forward during a gate. I think about pushing on the pedal as my body falls forward. It just looks like I throw my head because the movement is faster since it’s on a hill. My gates on flat ground look similar to my sprint form here!
How long do you rest between sprints?
In the cold, however long it takes my hands to warm up from being numb 😂 but usually I just write the time, then get setup at a normal pace and go again
@@DrewPolkBMX oh cool. Thanks 💪
how about you buy some new clip shoes bud
They arrived right after I filmed this video 👍
