Thank you for not starting off with the tutorial. Why is jt that so many ppl posting piano tutorials think its okay to not play the song first, but to just dive into the tutorial. Mind boggling to say the least. interestingly enough that hardly ever happens in guitar tutorials. So thanks again for understanding the importance of playing the darn tune before the tutorial.
I have played piano a little in my life but for my Music GCSE my friends and I decided to play Skyfall for our ensemble. I am on piano so I used this tutorial to learn how to play it, and within an hour I was a pro! I can now play it without any prompts or help, so thank you so much for the clear and precise tutorial.
I love how you don't think speaking is necessary because it totally isn't! It's even more confusing when you speak! I love your videos! You're awesome!
Hi! Thanks for your comment, good to hear I could be of help and that you are having fun playing :). The part you're referring to is in fact still the verse, only there is a note added to the piano part. This extra note gives extra depth to the second half of the verse, 'building' the song 'up'. Adding extra notes can often be a good way of building in a song. The notes here are especially sophisticated, because they actually change the 'color' of the chords + give that special 'bond-vibe'.
Hi Sang, thank you so much for your comment. That is indeed exactly what I'm trying to show and teach everybody: how to play/create a piano-part that could have been (or is) used on the actual, real record too. So a piano part WITHOUT a melody line, for that is supposed to be SUNG :). (see the description in my channel). I'll add your request to the to-do list (but it is long..) Cheers!
Hey and thanks for your comment! I'd really like to help you but find it kinda difficult to answer your question like this... The 'end result' shows you the three different parts played after one another in correct order (just like the original song goes, intro, verse, chorus), after that the parts are each explained separately. Take a close look at the pictures and my hands which notes change (in every new part some notes change). Good luck, hope this helps!
Really loved the video, also learnt this in a couple of days, I subscribed immediately ! Thank you very much ! J'ai vraiment aimé cette vidéo, et j'ai également appris cette musique en deux jours, je me suis abonnée de suite ! Merci beaucoup !
😄you're welcome! You deserve because you are kind and talented! You are kind because you nice enough to answer my comment. Most people don't care. And talented because.... Well because of this brilliant video!😉
This was soo good :D I'm more of a guitar player but I play the piano occasionally... I was able to learn till the chorus but then realized my piano doesn't have the notes to go lower while playing with the left hand during the chorus :P sigh. I guess I can play the song only till there now :P thanks so much for this very helpful tutorial! :D It was cool getting back to the piano after ages! :D
thanks a lot i had learnt the intro from another vid, but the chorus chords here are so well explained even a noob like me could learn it easy XD keep it up!! :D
I know how to play this but i am doing this solo performance for music class and i must have sheet music for the song that i am playing so do you have the exact sheet music that you were playing in this video?
how long did it take you to learn that? im a beginner, how long do you think it will take me to learn and also from 1 being the hardest and 10 being the easiest how hard is it?
Hey I really like the tutorial and it's great..... But I'm not as comfortable with tutorials as with normal sheets So do you have a sheet version or something? (also for "Hall of Fame")

This is excellent, in the intro where E flat and C is played in the RH, the LH plays C A Flat and F, this series of notes outlines an F Minor Chord.
