Was struggling for ages on how to do the trailer with put a linear actuator as a very low budget and this is perfect! Wish I didn't sell my project now... big fan of all the projects you do and can't wait to see the trucks!!

🙂 this took me a little while to figure out - the breakthrough was when i worked out how to wire up the toggle switch with as few wires as possible. Glad you enjoy the videos. I'll start on the trucks when I've perfected a cheap and easily repeatable drive and steering system (I did a Mack dump truck ages ago using Meccano and Mardave Marauder steering parts, but I want to do a cleaner build for a video) - almost there! 👍

I really like the way you explain your thought process! Refreshing to hear no no ums and arrs. Great videos!

Thank you🙂. That's partly because it feels like I spend more time editing than filming 😂. Really glad you enjoy them 👍

Thank you. I am still learning with these models & each one offers fresh challenges. Plus I'm trying to get better at the presenting / video editing aspects of these. 🙂

... same here! I'm refining the techniques on the little and more simple Bruders before I work my way up to the larger and more complex builds.👍

hello, I like your videos, at minute 9:55 of this video you can see a tool to bend the metal bars for the servos. Could you tell me the name of that tool and where did you buy it? Regards thank you very much.

Well done...I'm enjoying watching and learning. If I'm using a Flysky tx (i6X) could I delete the micro switches, servo and switch and adjust the up and down travel using the END POINT functions on the trans.?

You could use a speed controller like this amzn.to/2V0phfY instead of the servo and switch, but need to keep the micro-switches in place to tell the motor when it has reached the end of its travel. If that makes sense? I think I show the wiring to do this in the excavator video build series. 😀👍

Thank you! I have already done a couple of low loaders with ramps - using the cast metal kits from Piggy Tailor. Have a quick look though the videos I have published on this. 😀👍

Very nice bud thats alot of work going on there you almost lost me lol.. Something you might want to try by the time you spend the money for the motor too drive the screw drive the servo for the switch, micro switch etc..and the time it takes to put it all together.. Have you ever customized your own 360 rotation servos.. If you can do what you just did you'll hav eno problem making your own servo mods.. then add your 2.2K resestors to the mix and they will center out when not in use.. also you can dial it in even more on sub trims on transmitter.. This will allow you to buy one servo for your build.. from there you can use the same set up for slower builds as gear boxes 8-)

This was a fun build & i'm happy with the result. I guess we are all constantly learning & agree that servo mods offer a lot of potential, plus complexity / cost saving. I went down this route with the trailer partly because I haven't yet figured out how to combine travel limits (micro switches) with either ESC's or servo boards. I have been looking at your builds (particularly your excellent big dozer) for inspiration! 🙂

Your doing a awesome job bud keep it up.. as myself I have never seen a Bruder dozer before in my life or had any assistance on how to build one.. I just went with what I think would work and with what I know to make it happen as well.. that dozer was my first dozer build I have sold that one but I will be making another one soon 👍🏼 I love these Bruder and ertl or any toy conversion it really is fun too challenge the mind..
