Atleast with BB dogs shooting them will stun them while Dogs in ds3 was truly something
DS3 dogs teleporting into your ass was way worse than BB
Bb dogs are a nightmare they deal a lot of damage even more than bosses at time due to counter attack boost that happens with dogs a lot but the teleporting dogs in da3 are another breed

That's the best way to do it. Just long enough to get into the flow of the game, but not long enough to where you start to go hollow.

It does nearly that, actually, if he leaned harder into the build. For instance, Malenia's great rune offers the full functionality of lifesteal like the boss has instead of providing a rally mechanic. The mod gives you all Malenia's spells except her clones, and Hand of Malenia's Waterfowl resembles that of the boss more closely.
I'd love to see a bloodflame convergence playthrough! The spells are super fun, balancing your HP and FP.
I was there for parts of the stream, was hesitant to watch the new stuff for spoilers, I have yet to play the mod, but damn I wanted to see Gino explore and play this amazing overhaul. Also shout out to the editor, compacting like 10+ hours into one entertaining video is amazing. :)

I added the dodge and run animation from the black knife assassin to convergence and now the fights are epic ❤ best mod out there so far

Haven't tried elden ring covergence yet cus my gpu died, but i remember playing it on ds3 and bosses and mobs had some crazy new stuff.
Had a lot of fun with that mod, can't wait to repair my gpu and play this one too

From this play through, I really realized how so many of the bosses’ attacks in this game are so damn cool, you could make an entire sick build out of having one of them as an AoW. The blade of scarlet bloom and hammer of virtue look like so much fun.
I would love to see a melee class from this mod, ive seen so many playthroughs of spell classes but the new weapons like the odachi look sweet too

This class is really fun with a stormcaller in your party, the stormcaller uses a tornado and you throw a swarm of flies in it, if these hit a group of enemies its like a blender
You should have done an all boss run on that. I dont have a PC so id love to see more of this Mod
I just got finished with my third randomizer run. I think it's time I installed Convergence! I'm kinda new to PC, just discovering mods and realising what ive been missing out on 😅
Waterfowl really should have been the second phase variation that procs instant rot
16:45 this is the issue i had, i love this mod so much but when i was doing a bloodflame build and had to kill mohg for the last incant rune it was ROUGH
the melee centered classes like the dreadnaught are pretty fune and have insane custom weapons too
I have some criticism as the mod is done. Handing you the exact location of things and taking away the exploring factor. It feels like playing with an ingame guide. Also, many weapons and new spells and too overpowered.
But the castle morne and some bosses are insanely well made. If someone played the game without knowing it was a mod, they would think it was the original game
@ginomachino is there somewhere that has a list of all the stagger/poise amounts for bosses I’m trying to plan out a run and would like to be as prepared as possible i found a list of the amount of poise damage all weapons and ashes do but i cant find anything on bosses
3:15 if you start as the bestial devout you totally have two friendly wolves by your spawn that aren't friendly if you choose a different class

49:00 I think this is what the castle would look like in the actual world, since historically a lot of castles had a village or town near them for food, not to mention the actual lands between is considered a continent so it should be a lot larger
the chaos beam spell you get from completing hyetta's questline is busted
2:39:12 seeing as it's a crucible knight themed boss, i was hoping the name would be like Siluria or Ordovis and reference an ancient period of time. Like Cambria or Devon. Those would totally be the name for two other crucible knights.

As the Bestial Devout class and Castle Morne have received major updates in latest alpha. They also changed how the Erdtree transpoert system worked so you have to beat the guardian where you are going before moving on as the area is like a large evergoal till guardian is beaten.
the blade of scarlet bloom's rot proc was the same as malenia's in the first patch and it did insane damage if u proced the rot, almost one shot for any boss if u got them rotted with it haha
my favorite is the beastman groundslam. Its the physical damage version of the nuke
i enjoyed watching this so much i got the mod and its incredible but how did you get to the grand clositer from lake of rot iv done buttons and everything and cant climb the roots

The people playing this have almost definitely beat the base game. Making what should be the ultimate challenge easier is odd.
Gino, whenever you play Convergence go straight to Corrhyn in Roundtable - he sells an incantation buff that lasts infinitely (untill you fast travel or die), lowering your equip weight and granting you HP regen. I use that one on literally every Convergence character i made so far.

The whole frenzy flame castle and village reminds me so much of Skyrim DLC, very Hermaeus Mora. So so awesome.

Idk if you actually knew about this but you can duplicate unique weapons like the Blade of Scarlet Bloom at the altars inside the giant stone turtles....you know the one where you could duplicate the remembrance runes in vanilla. Power stanced Scarlet Bloom as servant of Rot with the Cleanrot armor set and the buffs makes an absolute powerfull Melee build. Ik you´re the type of player who avoids getting hit but I messed up badly and Hoorah Loux was able to grab me TWICE back to back without me healing and it still didn´t kill me. On the other side you do TONS of damage. Maybe give it a try if you replay the servent of rot in the future ;)

is there a way to not locking enemy when attacking? it's really frustating when you hit enemy and try to dodge but the camera suddenly auto locking the enemy and roll into enemy.. :'D
