Very nice and helpful video!! You are surely getting that corvette into shape. Hope the old Chevy truck is still working well. Have a great day and Happy Father’s Day to you and your followers.
Hi Dave, really enjoyed the video, you got a Tach Brother ye ha, you have really taken the Corvette a long way, it is a much different car now, hopefully you will get another video out before i go fishing again, i had to settle for Chocolate Old Fashioned with my coffee, we're going to have to do something about that, lol, oh yeah you were mentioned in DRF 53 drive video, catch you soon my friend
Hey Mike. The ole Vette is getting pretty dependable, enough so that the Mrs had an enjoyable long cruise in it the other day. But there was one negative she had and I've decided to address it, I'm gonna revisit the A/C again, LOL. Since you've been a sea farer my main video editing machine bit the dust and I haven't really had any topics to record so I've not been putting much out. I do need to get the 49 back into the limelight as I've had some requests for it. I'll also check out your other new vids tonight. Carry On my friend.
Great videos on your 75 vette i just bought one and i'm glad i came across your vids cause everything your fixing i'm in the same boat lol but thats why i got it .Could you put up the name and number you got the tach board from incase i can't get one up here in Cape Breton Nova Scotia ....
Hey Billy, welcome aboard the Corvette express, LOL. I get most all my parts form VolVette as they are local and a short drive from my place. Heres a link to the crkt brd: www.volvette.com/EL89T.html I'm glad you're finding some of my vids helpful. I'm new to Vette's and I'm learning as I go. And as you've discovered the youtube is a great resource on how to work around the myriad of "gotya's" these Vettes can present a poor unsuspecting wrench turner, LOL. I put up with mine mainly cause it's a joy to drive. Good luck Dave
Hey Dave, how's it going..Boy that's a lot of work to get that tach repaired.. But, as a wise man or woman once said, it is what it is...lol. Dave your audio sounds different.. kind of tinney... Do you have some new equipment? I was watching a video of these guys that built a nice pickup truck and as they were taking it out for a test drive, I thought, this scenery looks familiar.. I looked up their location and they are 1.5 mi from my Apt.. Talking about a small world... Well Dave, good to see you again, and you take care my friend...
I put it off for as long as I could but for some strange reason I felt I needed a tach. Well I gotta say I do dig it, LOL. Have a good one Gary. Oh, yeah I have a new camera and even a plug in boom Mic, I ain't happy with neither...
