My parents were loving when I was a kid. Unfortunately, as a 18-19 year old kid, my dad started changing for the worst and I quickly disliked him. I only have a wonderful mom ❤
yea man i know exactly what he's talkin about. whenever i meet a friends parents that are like that i get jelous and sad but also hopeful and glad that something like that is indeed real. gives me something to strive for

This is why TNT is such a special network. It’s one thing to mention this loss, but it is another to take valuable air time to pay tribute to Ernie’s mom.
Very few other networks would do that. You can feel the love among the TNT crew. They are family.

I'm happy for him. He's gotten to see her live a full life and she's gotten to see him achieve all of his professional and personal goals. 94 years is a beautiful thing.

Ernie Johnson and his family have been through a lot last couple of years. Man lost his beloved son too in 2022, and now his mother . My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with your family, EJ. This is probably because of your upbringing. I'm truly sorry for your loss. I realize you probably won't see this. My condolences Earnie. I lost my mom in 2013 and haven't been able to fully recover from it but better days will come. She is in peace and that's what counts. Keep your head up buddy. Much love and respect from NYC.

She was 96 years old. I remember when my great grandmother died she was 101 at that time my family never mourned her death instead we thanked everyone for being a part of her long life. I know its weird but instead of being sad we celebrated a life that transcends through time and it actually felt way more fulfilling than if we mourned her death.
That's actually dope. Maybe that's the way it should be done, especially if someone has lived a long, good life.

Losing your mom is hard and you never forget because you only have one mother. Yet she left a legacy and life lessons to remember, cherish and love for now and always for the Johnson and TNT family.
