    Luke, you have a gift!! Adam Block do not have it as well as many others making tutorials. You distill the Pixinsight experience into a highly usable experience, with great results. I'm screwed if your videos ever get deleted on RUclips 😅

    Amazing result, Luke! I love M33 and I like your technique of increasing the red.

    Great stuff as always Luke. It's been cloudy here in Minnesota, USA, for a couple weeks now, so all I've been doing is reprocessing old data. Looks like it's time for M33!
    Cheers and clear skies.

    Excellent stuff as always Luke. I'll definitely have a go at this. I seem to process other peoples data more than my own these days but really enjoy it.

    Damn, Luke. This is almost exactly what I do. I tend to use NXT after I stretch. Have noted some artifacts if I do it earlier. I also like SetiAstro’s Statistical Stretch. Thanks for the hint about masking the galaxy. I haven’t been doing that. Finally, my wife asked me about how you and the family are doing. Cheers.

      Hey Jack! We're doing well my friend, it's been a big period of adjustment for us all of course, but that's true for every new parent I guess!! :-D hope you and your wife are doing well!
      Clear skies my friend

    Hi Luke,
    Once again, "Challenge accepted".
    I will try to capture RGB data from the Heavenly Backyard.
    I love these challenges you provide.

    Very nice tutorial on processing galaxies with a OSC. Curios about which, if any, filters you used.

    • @lukomatico
      @lukomatico  5 дней назад

      Thanks mate! No filters used other than just the standard UV/ir cut filter :-)

    oh man! Did i need this one! I have issues processing M33. Plus my data is kinda rubbish lol. I shot on a new filter and dont think my settings were really dialed in and I didn't have enough frames because I was trying 5min exposures. Only got 2 hours.

    Nice tutorial. I learned a few new things! Thanks Luke. Do you still use Star Reduction to create a starless image of galaxies/nebulae? I find it handy so that my playing around with the DSO does not impact my stars. Dr B from Manitoba, Canada 🇨🇦

      @lukomatico  5 дней назад +1

      Hey Dr. B! I do indeed remove stars still, but not for every processing job these days - mainly just for nebula work!
      Cheers :-)

    Thanks for the forecast! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

    Hi Luke, This looks a great way to process data but I couldn't find the repository for the tools from Bill Blanshan (HT Stretch and Unlinked RGB) - all I got on your Google drive was the icon files. Also for some reason those don't load in my PI Workspace??

    • @vornwend
      @vornwend 3 дня назад

      Sorted! Turns out my icon workspace was too narrow. Just needed to right click in the workspace and hit arrange icons.

    Didn’t hear what filter or camera was used on the stack you were working with? Obviously the hydrogen is coming through well, so I am assuming an OSC with a dual narrowband filter of some description?

      Actually you can do this with just RGB data. You can add Ha later on, but a lot of the color is already there.

    Great processing tutorial video.
    When I use the spcc colour correction . I can’t get it to work as it reports no catalog selected and only has one selected . Any ideas ?
