I asked Heather about the silk powder. It's actually not in the eyeshadows. It was in the foundations they used to make, and the ingredients they have listed on website and on the old packaging (they updated it on the new sleaves they just ordered) were just blanket ingredients for all the ingredients they use in everything. They have quite a few vegan eyeshadows I guess. They said they were marked on the website, but I haven't noticed that. So I think someone would have to ask about what's vegan. Just FYI in case anyone cares about that.
Good to know - hopefully they updated their website so that people know which eyeshadows are vegan and which aren't. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve been loving single shadows lately. Making my own palettes. This brand is on my list to try. Devinah has some awesome shadows. And I just got a bunch of looxi shadows on sale for Black Friday.

It's really unusual to see such a variety of greens & purples in a matte formula. Those are the colors I like most & only use shimmer/glitter sparingly as an accent. Thank you for the swatches & review. Very helpful.👍 Will look into this brand definitely 💜💚

Thank you for taking the time to swatch these. With the current sale going on your swatches will be so helpful in creating my shopping list. One question for you, what is the palette you are storing them in, how many pans does it hold and where did you purchase it? okay 3 questions😊
Glad to help :-D This palette is actually one of their old empty magnetic XL palettes that I got off their Etsy store but I don't think they sell these anymore which is a pity because it stores 63 eyeshadows (which happens to be all the Sydney Grace Co eyeshadows I have!). If you're looking for a giant empty palette, Coloured Raine have 36 and 96 pan empty palettes - theirs have mirrors too!
Melissa Gold i have the xxl coloured raine and just bought an 88 give me glow. But i find there is nothing between a large z and and the 88. 50-70 pan palette options would be so useful. Thanks for the info!

I have WONDERFUL luck using an OG sponge tip applicator with my Sydney Grace pressed pigment shadows and shimmer shadows.
Good idea! I have a bunch of sponge tip applicators I never use. Should make use of them!

Melissa Gold I think the problsm I'm having with pulling the trigger is I haven't seen a shade yet that I don't pretty much already have. Multiple times I've checked out their website, trying to find something unique to my collection, but at this point.... I guess I pretty much have all the colors ever, lol.
I like the look you did and you inspired me with keeping the colors down. It´s suitable for older aged and I often have problem with blending eyeshadows quite high under the brows. I´ll think about your technique next time ;-).

those mattes are so stunning! the fallout reminds me of Clionadh's which is a WILD amount, but it's totally worth it. looking forward to trying it out once i can stomach the shipping to canada!
They truly are. I've only tried Clionadh's duochromes but have Archeo & Paleo on the way to me so I'm excited to try out their matte formula too! Hopefully the shipping to Canada is not as expensive as to Australia!!
This was indeed very useful because I do love my metallics shades more foiled and punchy, so if I order from SG I should stick to the mattes...although she just announced that as per September they will offer pressed glitters...
Mariam A. I would stick to mattes but if you liked a particular metallic shade go for it because they can be built up over glitter glue or applied with a finger. Ooh I'm interested to see what their pressed glitters will be like. I'm always apprehensive because if there's any wet ingredients used to bind it will go off quickly but if it's something like the Linda Hallberg Collision or Devinah pixie eyeshadows I'm interested!!

I thought the same! The metallics didn't perform that great, especially with a brush..but even the finger swatches looked a bit dry. I wonder what SGC do on their instagram when they post those short swatch videos...because man I would've been disappointed if I was ordering from them and expecting shadows that look like in their videos but got these instead. And I was actually going to order from them earlier but decided not to - thank god!
I have been wondering the same about the mini video swatches on insta!!!!...how come those look so foiled and metallic?! If I hadn't seen and heard multiple reviews of SGC I would totally have assumed their metallics are incredible and ordered some.

I love Sydney Grace...sadly as I open my palette I know I am not a MUA because I get overwhelmed with all the beauty and color. :( Overall for me SG does not disappoint. I have a few of there duo chromes, Red Chameleon, greatest gift and Maids a milking pinks with a purple shift. :)
It can be overwhelming - I certainly didn't jump into colour overnight. The good thing about SGC is that they have lots of neutrals, browns & taupes etc so if you're scared of colour, they've got you covered! Glad you enjoy them

I've got one of their cream shadows but have yet to rip it open and give it a go. I realise it might be because, as much as I love cream products, cream eyeshadows are just not what I gravitate towards! Some nice shades though!

That's a great idea! Probably my favourite metallics would be from Pat McGrath, Coloured Raine, Nabla and Natasha Denona. They're just have more of a kick which I prefer. Aww don't worry about shipping costs - I just hope whoever wins enjoys them :-) Thank you for watching & commenting

I haven't tried this brand yet even though I have heard about them a while back. Glad they moved from Etsy because apparently the seller's charge was increased quite bit. The swatches you did are awesome and super helpful!!!! I definitely want to pick up a few, especially the greens and purples. Although... I did see that Blushtribe is coming out with a blue, purple, green palette as well. I want that one too!!!! Budgeting is so difficult. 😅😅

Yeah I imagine it would cost them more to list on Etsy so in future I will buy from their website since they offer international shipping now. Glad you found it useful! :-D I was intrigued by the Blushtribe eyehadows but it looks private labelled so I haven't pulled the trigger.. not that private labelled is necessarily a bad thing! The owner has a daughter named Payton (that's not to say that she doesn't also have another daughter with the name Sydney or Grace) who is in some of her Instagram video clips swatching shadows sometimes. She also has atleast two shadows that I know of that are named after her daughter Payton. One is called "Princess Pay Pay" (she says that is a nick name she calls Payton lol) , and "Payton's Puppy".

I got eczema on my eyelids about three days before the shadows arrived and I still have T-rex eyes. 😈. I am not sure what this emoji means but it is the only one i can find with swollen red eyelids. Are these better than Inglot? What is the difference? Inglot gives more per pan and have a store near me. Are they worth the shipping? IDK? I love my Viseart, Inglot and MAC eyeshadows.
Sorry for the late reply! Just saw this comment. I reach for my Sydney Grace Co shadows more than my Inglot ones and really enjoy them although there are some inconsistencies with the shadows (e.g. some shades such as the deep forest green are a bit harder to blend) but overall I prefer them to my Inglot ones - mind you I only have the ones from the JLo collection which I found were very average. These have better pigmentation. I prefer my Viseart eyeshadows over the Sydney Grace ones though.

Thank you so much! I actually asked them about the import duties to Australia but Heather messaged and said they since they don't meet the threshold for amount sold, they don't need to charge the 10% GST which is awesome!
That's fantastic! In Canada I think it's much more of a crap-shoot for duties. A lot of our packages come in without it but then sometimes we get stung. It sucks.

It was actually from Sydney Grace Co but they don't seem to sell that size before. I know Coloured Raine sells a really large one! You might have some luck there 😊

Yeah shipping's a killer. Maybe one day they'll offer flat rate shipping - that would be great but for now I don't think it's feasible for them as a small business. Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love the minty green look and those swatches were mesmerising. I saw that you had reviewed the Certifeye Tropical and I'm trying to decide whether to get that or Sydney Grace matte shades. Any advice? The Certifeye would work out much cheaper (low shipping and no customs) but I'd be happy to spend more for quality.

Would love to win 😁 I'm the kind of person who won't order if the shipping cost is high. I don't care how much I want something, I refuse to pay for expensive shipping. There have been a many carts emptied after shipping calculator.
I know what you mean.. it seems like a total waste of money but unfortunately it generally costs a lot to get anything sent to Australia even locally! :-/ I do generally prefer to shop from sites that offer free shipping.
