- A short video to show you how you can make a set of simple sequences to create some great sound on the Volca Keys. Of course this may also be applied to other similar sequencers.
Very nice and also good explained! Thanx 🙏🏻
My volca keys will arrive in a few days and I am already in love with this cute little thing 🥰 Can't wait to get my hands on it...

No problem @dianamiino7391. Hope to do some more of this on my channel soon!
Awesome
Thanks for your explanation 👍😎 received my keys today ... 👍😊
This has helped me out loads. Thanks mate.
You can switch on tempo delay so it automatically syncs to your tempo. I find the delay very basic but also nice because it adds some bit reduction which makes the sound breathe, even at a very low feedback setting. This is an incredible little box full of surprises.
Easily the best video I've seen about this synth. Subscribed!!!
Hi @amylou7991, glad it was helpful. Perhaps time I should upload some more videos like these 🙂
@zerobeat2020 Yes please! To be honest I've had my Volca Keys for years but never really got to grips with it. I'm a guitarist really but I love synths too but after trying to figure things out on the Volca, it's just so easy to go back to guitar.
@@amylou7991The Volca Keys was my first hardware synth after many years of not playing much at all. It is a remarkable little instrument and I am sure you will start using it sooner or later!
A really brilliant tutorial. Very useful. Thanks
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.
The exenple on the tutorial is better than the most synth wave tracks! Great video tutorial!

Hi ! Thanks a lot for the tutorial, definitely helps ! I have the feeling the sound of the Volca Keys is warmer / fuller than my Minifreak's.... ?! Did you manage to get close to its sound with your Microfreak ? Which oscillator type woulf you recommend ?
Cheers :)
Thank you for an excellent tutorial.
I've just picked up a 'Keys' (and an 'FM') - ain't they a lot of fun!?
Muchas gracias. Magnifico video
Thank you so much for the tutorial!
Is it possible though to record that swith between sequence 1 and 2 on memory port 3 for example, so you wouldn't have to do it manually?
Thanks, great tutorial!

Liked and subscribed! Great video. Amazing accent. Have you spent time in the north of England / Scotland?
I have lived in the North of Scotland for about 30 years now 🙂

thank you for the guidance, I'm struggling to record pad sequences, please help?
Very good thanks
Goede tutorial 👍
thanks man!!!
When desperate for step-recording I use Active Step to isolate the step I want to affect. Then I just move the active step to the next position. Repeat until unnecessary. :)
MIDI
Yes, you can certainly use a separate MIDI sequencer to record a sequence on the Keys, but not sure what the point would be other than being able to use then use the keys its own and recall the sequences from memory.
