honestly you have the best music reviews on RUclips. your perspective & thorough exploration of an albums themes are highly valued
can i listen to ghais if im a white muslim
yesss i was hoping you would review this one!! one of my favorites this year!!
Really glad you reviewed this one!
Good content, Dr.
I don't know if this is because I'm from Scotland and not the US but it seems incredibly strange to me to be ok with people hating you just because you're white. I don't know what it's like over there but here black people are seen as Scottish, not African-Scottish, just Scottish.
listening to the album i really thought about how you should review it
philadelphia’s music scene today is so underrated
Love this album so much! So glad you made a video on it!!!
"Stokley Carmichael babysat my cousins" has to be the biggest odd flex I've ever heard. If you said that at a party I'd definitely only pay attention to you for the rest of the night.
Loved the review! What you said at the start reminds me of how I’ve felt about the new Petrol Girls album (which I’d love to hear your thoughts on btw!) and how it talks about men and misogyny. One great lyric from that album is “I want to be held but not held back”, which I think captures a similar intersection between militant feminism and having loving personal relationships between men and women.
YESSSSSSSS this album is goated you are a king for puting eyes on it
Re: Who's a great American Hero - Jessie Owens. Which, oddly enough, on August 9th (date of my posting this) won his 4th gold medal in the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
Great review, but I'd love if you could possibly dive into boldy James, I think if you take a look at his multiple albums released in 2022 there's an interesting underlying comment on the pursuit of rap excellence through a though time. More so it's a glimpse into the griselda production team which seem to be missed alot by reviewers so as my favorite reveriwer you'd make me so happy :)
YESSSS
I love this album
Love Love Love This Album. Top 10 Of The Year So Far For Me
Yes, Magna Carta is such an underrated project as a whole, many of Jay's finest songs are there
