We were there at the end of May. Prince of Wales Hotel has High Tea every afternoon from 12 noon to 4 pm. Lake Cameron was mostly frozen when we went. It was quiet when we went to Waterton at the end of May. Watertown National Park is beautiful!

Hi.. normally all the hikers don't recommend bear spray.

I always carry bear spray when hiking around Waterton (or any of the mountain regions in Alberta). There have been at least 2 fatal bear attacks in Alberta this year. Bears prefer to avoid humans but the chance of an encounter is always there.
