Despite the wildfire damage it’s still a wonderful place to visit. We spent the first week of July there this summer. We were only able to get two consecutive nights in the town campground but spent another five nights at the Crooked Creek campground just outside of the park. It’s only a fifteen minute drive from the town and is run by the Waterton Community. Two things you didn’t mention were the deer which are a common site around town (we saw several) and the boat ride to the Montana end of the lake. For your American viewers we saw a bald eagle on the Montana shoreline on July 4th. You should also mention that Waterton is where the Prairies meet the Rockies with no real foothills in between.

Just came back from Waterton and Many Glacier. Spend 3 nights at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Your video was a valuable guide in getting us acquainted to the area. Great job!

Is this a good spot to visit with kids? Maybe except the hiking part

Yes absolutely! Even the hiking is possible with kids 😊 like the Bear’s hump is easy to do with kids as it’s short and well-maintained
