Hello, this is the standard Chinese Language Program that Tsinghua University offers, not the IUP. For more information about the IUP program, I would suggest you visit iupchinesecenter.org/.
Hey Samantha congratz! We had our classes in "Third teaching building/三教楼“. In the past the classes were also held at the C-building/C楼 in front of the grass field sports ground!
Hi @brooklyn2736! Cool that you're going soon, hope you have an amazing time! Once you are accepted into the Language Program, you should soon receive an email concerning information about room reservation. Do note: as a language student, you are technically also an international student, so the information you've seen may be applicable to you as well. If you still have any other questions I would just reach out to the program coordinators by email!
Hey Brooklyn! I’m also going to do the language program too! Are you going this semester (Feb 2024)? I’ve been trying to find someone also starting the program soon!
@@brooklyn2736 do you have Instagram or wechat or any social media? Would love to meet up when we are there to find the classes together! The campus is massive 😥
As a Banglaseshi Student I want to apply for my masters program at Tsinghua University. As an international student there are lot of queries working in my mind about the selection process. Is it too hard to get a chance at Tsinghua University ? can you please give me some suggestions so that I can get a chance at that uni.
Hello, personally I have not applied for a Masters program at Tsinghua, so my input is completely based on what I know myself. First of all, Tsinghua university and a lot of other universities in China offer a lot of scholarships (CGS, CSC, local city scholarships etc.). For more information on this you can simply google or visit this site: www.china-admissions.com/blog/china-scholarship/. With regards to the selection process I am not sure. You can visit online forums on the internet by googling, as I am sure there are enough people with the same question as you.
Thank you so much for video.I have a question ım also considering to take education for 1 year. But ı have no idea of cost of living.May you share how much did you spend while you are there? Thanks in advance
Hey Emine, it's a bit hard to quantify as everyones living habits is different. I was on a scholarship where my tuition and accommodation was provided for. Additionally, I had an allowance of ±2500 RMB per month. The canteens are very cheap at school and you can get a balanced meal at about ±6RMB.
Hey, I'm interested in doing my mba from tsinghua university but I'm really confused about the scholarship process and when scholarship application starts. I don't wanna miss the deadline 🤧🤧
Hello! Great that you are thinking of pursuing a MBA at THU! I'm not sure which scholarship you're referring to as there are quite a few, but I would have a look on the Tsinghua website www.tsinghua.edu.cn/en/Admissions/International_Students1/Financial_Aid.htm. In case it doesn't help you I advice you to send them an email. Their emails are on the webpage!
@@JiaInAsia Thank you for helping. I'll research on the official website. Btw, is it worth it to pursue THU? Ik it's good but still in doubt about job and salaries within china and outside too.
@@Caratiiiiinarmy Hi! Within China THU is regarded as the best. The salaries for THU students are generally way higher than any other university (for exact ranges Google). Outside of THU, within Asia, it is the top 1 university. Hence, a lot of students across all Asian countries come to THU. However, outside of Asia, the brand awareness is way smaller, and only people who have particularly heard about it know. One very big factor to consider is that education in China is way cheaper than if you were to do it abroad in US/UK/some European countries. There are so many scholarships available, and for that simple reason alone, it can be a very good option for international students.
Hi! They are open for everyone, but not free. There are a few carriers, namely Hello Bike (blue ones), Didi (green ones), Meituan (yellow ones) etc. You need to download the apps to ride them.
Hello, they would inform you what you will need to prepare, but I would think just the general stuff like accommodation (on-campus options), visa and everything else concerning moving abroad.
Hi am undergraduate student from Malawi in Africa,is tsinghua university also a university of undergraduate? I am an orphan, how can I get a fully funded scholarship at tsinghua university as an international student?does tsinghua university offer civil engineering program?
It is recommended to study civil engineering at Changsha University of Science and Technology or Hohai University (water conservancy engineering) or Chang'an University
Hi! Yes, Tsinghua University also has undergraduate programs. I suggest you have a look at their website www.tsinghua.edu.cn/en/Admissions/Undergraduate/Overview.htm. There are diverse scholarships available www.tsinghua.edu.cn/en/Admissions/International_Students1/Financial_Aid.htm. I would also Google this a bit further on the internet.
