    I FINALLY KNOW THE INGREDIENTS TO A STRICT MUSCLE UP! Thank you very much! I’ve mastered the kipping muscle up just recently but thanks to this video, I think I know how I’ll be able to do a strict muscle up and that’s by now focusing on explosive pull ups. I like when you mention in a pull up, you focus on your lats but in an explosive pull up, you change your focus from the lats to the teres major. This is key in a muscle up. I know what to train next now. The transition is easy now. I just need that explosiveness to get the bar to my belly button then I simply transition into a dip. Thanks brother!

    • @busybusiness4
      @busybusiness4 5 лет назад +6

      I was thinking the same thing as you when I watched the video about the teres major. I knew train explosive and been putting weights in a back pack with a few sec rest between each set and I think I am good but I come to a dead stop when my chin hits the bar even when I get a good Palm hinged deep grip. I knew there is some certain muscles I am not training but know I think I know. When I can get my elbows to tuck in and get the bar to my belly button I will get my first muscle up.

      @@busybusiness4 did you get it?

    • @busybusiness4
      @busybusiness4 3 года назад +4

      @@SimonKalevra Well I kind of went to olympic rings since then and stuck with them. Olympic rings are much harder, they are not harsh on joints and can hit many more muscle groups then bars. I was getting close before it quit going for it. On a bar muscle up it is about explosion and do pull ups fast to prime yourself getting there.

    My legs keep swinging when i'm doing fast pull ups, what's the solution?

    • @tungmitto3498
      @tungmitto3498 5 лет назад

      Your core not strong/durable enough to hold your body still, try pull up slowly

      @@tungmitto3498 Thanks, but to increase my pull ups they have to be explosive right?

      @@heroworkoutmusic1448 by stabilize your body, u strengthen ur core while focus all the force on your muscle to pull up. Thats how calisthenics work, go step by step. Slowy first, then explosive
