this is basically what i did making my USM mask. personally, i prefer using fishbowl plastic for my lenses, while it does fog, it gives off the rounded look of USM spidermans lenses and has really nice reflections in photos and in person. unfortunatly i had my friend glue the lenses directly to the mask while i wore it. turns out, you should never trust your friends doing this, because they WILL cause crooked lenses.
Man, this tutorial is very helpful! Thanks for making this video. Honestly, imma try to make a Tobey Maguire Spider-Man mask because I’m just a huge fan of that mask
I used a plastic bag wrapped around an (American) football to draw the webbing for SM Noir and it worked alright, I don’t think it would be the best for webbing that goes all the way around though
I found out that if you want to make your lenses have more of a glassy effect you can cut out some soda bottles with the inside part of your lenses as a stencil and glue it between the lens and the pc mesh
I spent a good month or two making that more complex Miles mask (just without the moving lenses) on RUclips and whilst it looks dope on it's own, it's hard to breathe in, took too much effort/money to make, and the lenses aren't aligned properly when worn. I'll definitely follow this for my next Spider-Sona based suit, thanks!
Question for Amazing PSM. I am making a new Spider-Man Fanfilm and I was wondering if I could buy the classic inspired suit with the large spider located at 0:13 in the video. Please, this is literally the exact suit I was looking for and I don't have all the time in the world to make it. But the suit is exactly what i'm going for so, from a Spider-Man RUclipsr to a Spider-Man RUclipsr, please help me make my film.
This is excellent work! I was going to buy a Spider-Man mask from Amazon(as I had bought a costume from them)the suit looks fine for my first one ever, and I will be wearing it to an up coming local con in November, but the mask looked terrible, was too big and had nose holes! After your video I could make one now. The frames and lenses you did look really good! I hope when I do my mine for my mask, I hope they look as good as yours. Great job.
Great tutorial! I’m using it for my first cosplay for local Comicon, one question tho What does the plasti dip do exactly? Because the nozzle for mine broke off after I opened it for the 1st time if it’s just for protection then I’m not too worried as I don’t think I’ll be wearing it as much after comicon
Hey really quick, I’ve been making a scarlet spider cosplay, for making the eyes would it be better to make a very thin white boarder or make just use the lenses with no boarder? Would I just do the same process of gluing it on the mask or would it mess up the lenses if I did?

What kind of fabric material did you use? I went to a few fabric stores and couldn’t find a material that’s similar to yours almost everything is too sheer
probably any other glue. although he is using the gorilla glue gel and other glues are more liquid and harder to use speaking from experience... btw if you get superglue on your fingers use butter and just rub your fingers together while buttered up.
