Did anyone notice how the demo of sonic unleashed is called "Sonic world adventure" but in the ending it says:" Thank you for playing Sonic unleashed!"
There are actually two Sonic Unleashed demos on Xbox 360. The only difference between them is the name, "Sonic Unleashed" and "Sonic World Adventure".
Sonic World Adventure is the Japanese title. I mean its a demo they must have not cared if the names are swapped until the official release.
I like how sonic 4 ep II’s demo just ends in the middle of the level lol

Such nostlagic times, I miss those demos, I remember playing the demo for SA2 replaying City Escape for hours until I eventually got some Microsoft Points and bought SA1 and 2, good memories. I still have the Sonic 4 EpII demo on my system and my Uncle had the Generations and Unleashed demos on his old one

Not really, just because 2 thinks work here doesn't mean the rest (or even the whole build) works better.

The Sonic 4 demos are iconic to me because when I was younger I was never able to get the full versions, so I always played the demos (even downloaded them on my uncles ps3 whenever I’d visit)
SA2 and Sonic CD also had Demos I’d play just as much. What a time.
Done the same lolll, I saw the download history on my xbox 360, got tons of demos I played because I couldn't afford the full versions. Got a Legend of Korra game (played it again to see what was like), looks rly good, but sadly it's not available for purchase anymore.
Oh and got a Middle Earth (the lord of rings) MOBA game I used to play the demo a lot as a kid. My goal was to buy Torchlight tho, because the demo could be played indefinitely but had a level cap iirc like level 10 or so and you'd stop getting exp also the story wouldn't progress past a certain point. This one I did buy the full game as an adult at least :)

I remember I was so young that I couldn’t make the difference between a full game and a demo , once my mom took me to buy games and I saw sonic generations but I was like : nah we already have the demo at home

I played the unleashed demo so much as a kid , for Christmas I was given a PS3 despite asking for a GameCube with SA2B. I was so upset due to our financial issues because the ps3 was so expensive still. But there was a demo to Sonic Unleashed installed and it blew my mind how beautiful it was. Too bad I didn’t play through the game till last month. 100% All achievements.
Who else agrees that Sonic free riders would be a perfect riders game if it wasnt exclusive for kinect?

Very Nostalgic, I played all of these Demos (Except 06 because I didn’t know there was a Demo for it, and Free Riders ‘cause I didn’t have the proper equipment)

Man, I missed when they used to do pre-release demos for their sonic games.
I'll never forget the time when EB Games had a 360 demo station and most people played Peter Jackson's King Kong and Sonic 06, I played 06 and I desperately wanted my parents to get me a 360 on my birthday. I never noticed that the demo version was the better polished version but I liked it either way, never really noticed how bad it was until many other Sonic reviewers in 2010. I knew of the weird audio mess up were the voice actor repeated his line but that's about it.
There's something about PS3/360 demos were so much more memorable than now. When I got a PS3 I loved all those demos, Sonic Unleashed, Naruto Storm 1, Resident Evil 5, Lost Planet 2, Uncharted 1, and many digital only games and PSP games. I don't ever play demos anymore and wait for the official release. Just something about the early stages of online gaming was much more better than now.

Since I only have an Xbox 360, I unfortunately don't know how it works on PS3. I would suggest you to search on google for answers.
Oh these demos are very old. The demos/ games aren’t probably on the story anymore
@@squiddyword7224 You can still download games/demos in the Microsoft Store for Xbox 360, until the 29th July of 2024. That's where it shuts down entirely, unfortunately.

I can’t get over how great of a game Sonic 06 would’ve been if sega didn’t take away half of the game developers and had them work on Sonic and the secret rings! It would be nice if they went ahead and did a remake that way we could see as fans how the game was meant to be

I don't think the Sonic 06 demo is available for the PS3 anymore. Same goes for the Xbox 360, but you can actually still download it from "Sonic Retro" for Xbox 360:
