The lyrics remind of me of a younger self, now lost to the harsh realtoes of life....a hopeful version of me that once wanted many things.....but perhaps that life once lived is now understood, perhaps now i can go back to it.....Such a deep and multi-faceted song, love it, the melody is great too
I think it has to do with dying or being very close to death and seeing the light while stuck in a sort of limbo between, thats my interpretation at least.
I used to think it was about Auri too. I very much agree that it’s Name of the Wind/Wise Mans Fear - but it’s about Kvothe …the bit about his mom? “Not long now” sure sounds like an echo of “the cut flower sound of a man waiting to die”
@@ml3891 "No memory lost", "(life) now understood" and "now I know" sound the opposite of dementia. Some other parts would fit that interpretation though.

The melody reminds me so much of something, but I just can't put my finger on it. There's a definite nostalgic feeling I'm getting though 🤔

Lyrics remind me of taking drugs. Kinda worrying.

@@tiekogalaxylatte8839 I think this might be one of the songs that tie into Name of the Wind and the character of Auri but that's just me....
Isn't it about dementia?
