As part of the thick thigh society I recommend a chafing stick. They usually look like a deodorant stick but are made of oils and butter. It definitely helps prevent chafing.
I have never tried stitch fix, I'm glad you are reviewing their clothes as a larger woman myself. The shirt looks great. The 2nd pair is shorts looked good on you, but I agree that they are likely to rise as you walk. But overall they did flatter you. Great review thanks for sharing
Loved this! I have white crocs and some light blue ones with pink flamingos on them❤. I like wearing longer shorts too! I have a little loose skin in my thighs and they get irritated if I wear too short shorts.
I loved the camo shorts but the price was insane lol. I think anytime you find a tshirt and you love it that you have to keep it for sure. My weight recently has been up and down so it’s hard to find any good shorts that aren’t beyond short. So I totally understand the length thing
Yeah totally get the shorts feedback. I love longer shorts. I use to think they weren’t very flattering, but now I feel completely differently. I used stitch fix for awhile and wouldn’t really like much stuff, but I do think they get better at matching your preferences the more you do it. Now when I get a box, I usually have to send something back that I want because I like TOO much from the box. Just give the feedback on inseam preference and maybe your next box can just be mostly shorts!
I have one pair of crocs and Iove them 😅 I got them on sale and had to size down. Shorts are so hard to shop for! I prefer longer shorts just for comfort and it can be so challenging to find good ones. I tend to have decent luck with shorts at Old Navy and Target.
Being an apple shape myself I totally understand how annoying it is when it fits your waist but then there is so much extra fabric in the legs. It's why I wear capris, my favorite are by sketchers I get them online from Kohls. The top you got was a great basic and looked comfortable. Look forward to seeing what you end up finding for your summer wardrobe.
The price of the shorts in the box were so high and I didn't want to add even more cost by taking them to be tailored. Maybe if they were more affordable
Hi, I enjoyed your SF review. I do like SF. I am definitely on the hate crocks team. I think they make people look like they have duck feet. I like Democracy pants. I always pick 7 inch inseam shorts. I am tall, 5 ft 8. I see your point about the legs fitting you too loosely on the shorts. Cuffs on shorts drive me crazy. I end up tacking them down so they stay put. I have one nice pair of shorts that I have not worn yet this summer because I have not had time for doing that yet. I received a really nice Tribal skort from SF in June and that has been my go to for feeling dressed up this summer. I just looks like I am wearing a just above the knee skirt. It has built in shorts in the same color underneath. Not the type from the past that you could see the shorts in the back. I hope you found the perfect shorts since you posted this.

I've tried monistat chafing gel and didn't really like it. I haven't tried a chafing stick before. I'll have to look into that.

Thank you! I found some shorts from old navy and walmart that were more affordable and more flattering! I need to film a summer clothing haul soon!

Flamingo crocs! Oh my gosh I bet those are adorable!

Definitely. I love stitch fix and they usually nail it!

I found some at old navy! Thanks for the suggestion

I love capris as well!
You can always take the shorts to a tailor to take in the sides of the legs a bit for you like them.

@lynnemhall hi! Thank you! I did manage to find some shorts from old navy that worked out for me! I like 7 inch shorts as well!
Where ya been? I bought my first pair of crocs literally 20 years ago lol I love them ❤ new sub from NC
I'm way late on this trend! 🤣 thanks for subbing!
I am the same needing longer shorts but hate them baggy. And I’m not a fan of crocs
Glad I'm not alone. I got some great bermuda shorts from Walmart and old navy! I'll have to film a video on them.
I don’t care for crocs.. there are different makes of them that are ok but the slip ons I don’t care for!
I think crocs are super clunky and ugly.
