Honestly, this is kind of a tasteful mod. Espcially with the original lantern still active in the doorframe. Even with the new buttons, the whole operation of this elevator still screams Thyseenkrupp ISIS elevator. The motor being original is still pretty cool.

I actually like this mod, with how they kept the existing motor in the pit and all that. The only thing I don't like about it is that the buttons could have been made blue and same with that indicator, it could have been blue or white instead of red. But overall they did a pretty good job on this mod.

If you listen to my original video, you can hear how the old controller runs the motor. It's the same motor, but the drive controls it slightly different and it makes a different sound.

@@user-kp6xf4gf7t all of these ISIS models are from the early 2000s. but that means nothing, the ISIS is similar to shindler 3300s/3100s in that they are the absolute bottom of the barrel installations with horrible quality equipment. TKE never had decent traction equipment at all until the evolution line, but Otis still smokes every other company with MRL installs/quality.

Idk which of KONEs are the worst; probably their KSS and Series 220 ones. Idk which of the Otis ones are the worst; probably the Luxury ones with the angled call stations and lanterns. Montgomery’s worst was were the Vectors because they weren’t made very well. Dovers were pretty good quality, but their Traflomatic ones might be the worst. Idk how good Westinghouse made elevators.
