Cole, on days like this, you got to be loving all that GREAT gate work you've done over the last year or so.
Starting at approximately 5:18, no stunt doubles in a Sonne Farms production. The real and gritty growl from Brian to get Cole to quickly shut the gate is the kind of action I knew when helping to sort cattle. In fact, one of my favorite t-shirts online has a picture of a cow and reads, “I AM SORRY FOR WHAT I SAID WHEN WE WERE WORKING CATTLE.” A stressful environment at times.😮
Watching your content always makes me want to have a steak for dinner! I watch em' all, and conversely eat a lot of beef. It's what's for dinner.
Hey Cole , don’t forget to fix the directional snow blower, you said you had to do something with it before the snow flew next winter, and winter is looming… just a reminder❤😂
I was thinking the same as far as gate upgrades.
You and Dad have made so many improvements to the farm, equipment and tools.
All within a few short years.
How much easier it's become to the function and process.
It truly makes my heart warm seeing both of you work the farm while being able to relax your labor on the same yearly requirements.

It amazes me the amount of money you must have tied up in equipment. I would think it would be almost impossible for someone to get started in ranching / farming these days.

Great video as always. Dang that pesky popup rainstorm, loved that ending, I would have been using that pool to freshen up every evening during the summer to make those pool chemicals and filter earn their keep! Song of the day wise I remember my sister telling me about a Loverboy concert she went to while I was in the Marines in the mid to late 80's. She said that was the only band she saw that was just as good live as they were on the radio. Good to get some Beef's ran thru the shoot again.

Appreciate the 411 on the 5 Way and 7 Way with what’s in there and if there is a booster portion to it. Well it’s nice of Mother Nature to rain on you after the crops are done growing. West coast and South West along with the Heartland is in a drought. Michigan area and south of us,too much rain then 6 weeks no rain thweeks s as nd then too much rain back to no rain and we just got a couple days of rain. North East has had steady rain all year, it’s really crazy how the weather was this year and parts of America has been crazy hot too!
I’m going to have to say gents, you have one sweet herd of beef! Your calves look exceptional. You can see the results of your inputs and you attention to detail when it comes to herd health. Me being a SD boy, it makes me proud of what your doing and how you represent SD agriculture!

Hi Cole and Brian, just a note to compliment the both of you on the many improvements and gradual evolution of your farm. I've only been watching for about 3 years, a couple months before you hit 75,000 subscribers, before you had the tractor give away, but the new equipment, the many new fences, gates, etc (fiance!) are a testament to the strong business that Brian had in motion, and the proof of assistance from Cole's dive into bringing social media, sponsors, and getting tractors, balers (love the 3 bale attachment thing for getting bales to the same area of the field for easier pick up) etc. Hello to Ellie too!

I know it's just one of those things you can't control, but those rains that hit just when your ready to work the hay is aggravating. Well it beats having just raked it and then it rains, I guess. Those cattle really looked nice, you're right with the drought statement, mine are looking pretty good also, so tomorrow my son and I will be taking some to the auction! Nice setup for working cattle. I have not seen the head stabilizer apparatus before. Pretty cool. It really stops them from moving their head when you're tagging the ear. 👍
I just replaced a hose for my 935 JD MoCo that went from the tractor to the back cylinder on the mower and they aren’t cheap !
Well that escalated quickly lol
When I was a kid my Dad or cousin roped and drug the calves to the fire to brand them. My Mom vaccinated them and my sister and I flanked them. Baby sister was on the fence in a car seat. Dad always worked the calves when they were smaller as his help was small. Cole I recognize the tone in Brians voice when he called your name😂😂.
