Correct, but more refined or should I say "Uno-ified?" The rules are basically the same, but the deck is custom made to play it in a much more visually appealing way. The larger deck allows for many more players and the negative cards are more frequent (Golf doesn't have a negative one).
For those who really like the game it's a good investment, for those who don't, it'll just be another unplayed game in their game cabinet. But you're absolutely right that it's a packaged re-skin of the 52 card deck game.
