I remember as a young boy my grandmother's father and mother were from friuli northern italy, my grand father and my Grandmother from my Dad side was from Tuscany, I remember at the kitchen table they would yell BRISCOLA slapping the card on the Table I guess just for effect.. and Polenta at Christmas, Easter and Thanks Giving and black olives.... most of the Family members were the best Brick Layer's in Toronto and never got a dime from the Goverment. They made 1st wine second wine then Grappa BRISCOLA 😊.. good old days..

I was born in bologna and i spent 90% of my life here. Never saw anyone eating "spaghetti alla bolognese" one of the tradizional dishes are "tagliatelle alla bolognese" but "ragù alla bolognese" could be used with some more "easy" kind of pasta like "maccheroni" or "penne rigate", but NEVER with spaghetti.

In your game play sequence a partner ordering up trump without having a "natural" (same suit) trump would be considered a re-nag, in some parts of the country. I have seen a few arguments break out mid game due to different regional rules. Euchre is best played with people you like!

Can confirm with Catan. I left my in-laws pretty ticked off when we played at Thanksgiving. Can't say Carcassonne (taking over giant cities others have spent many turns working on) or Ticket to Ride (blocking routes for fun) don't have their own opportunities for the desire to table flip.

I was taught that when starting a pile with skip-bo card since it was wild it could be start a pile as any number but the instructions make no mention of this and neither does any youtube videos I’ve found
