It was the World Cup finals when the soccer ball started to act weird. Christian Ronaldo kicked the ball and revealed that was a mechanical ball. This was one of the most shocking moments in soccer history. (I don’t care if you say soccer or football, I’m from NY god damn it)

I was in attendance with all of my homies. We were watching, anxiously. It was an insane game. Our hearts were pounding, when suddenly. When CR7 completely destroyed the ball, revealing that it was mechanical. We were shocked. Not just us. But the whole stadium. Absolutely flabbergasted. Everyone around us didn't even know what to think.... expect for soccer would never be the same again. (Yes I called it soccer. Fight me.)

It was the final. My team had went through multiple grueling stages of this competition to get here. We were ready to win, at any cost. As the referee prepared to blow his whistle to signal the start of the match, we rushed to get ready for the deciding game. But something was off. The ball- it wasn't looking right. There was a gap, something inside the football/soccer ball that wasn't supposed to be there. And as I looked closer, I realized. There was a circuit board, one that could control the whole ball. Let the opposing team, who had been known for cheating, get an advantage. If it wasn't for my keen eye, we could've lost the whole game. I will never forget, the Game of the Rigged Ball.

long story short they worked to get to the finals, football/soccer, the opposite team known for cheating put circuits in the ball to control it.
The crazy thing about that deflate gate game is that he actually started playing better once they weren't deflated, it's like his passed suddenly became more accurate.
That's what I've been saying. People overrated big time it actually harder to throw and catch a ball when there is less air pressure in it or even to much pressure and I would not call that the worst case of cheating in sports history. The Vikings vs Saints game is by far the worst case when it comes to team sports anyway

I remember that Saints Vs Vikings game, in the end, Saints went on to win the Superbowl. Don't think enough was done, cause not only did they get paid to potentially inflict career ending injuries. They also stole a chance for the Vikings to win the Superbowl at all. Part of the reason I can never really watch a Saints game to this day, maybe better, better players, better morals, and better coaches, but that game puts a stain on them for me.
