    First of all thank you so much for coming up with these info and comparison video as well. I saw your video flying with Oscar via Air India, and then I booked my tickets. It was my first time flying with my pet Olie. Though I didn't miss my flight but I had the same experience that you mentioned .... I was flying from Bangalore to Guwahati.... unfortunately it was connecting Bangalore to Delhi to Guwahati...with 9:30 hrs of layover. I felt really bad for Olie(Persian cat).. I don't know whether she understood my situation or what that was but she did not trouble me at all. She was just looking at me. It was a heartbreak for me. Then my experience at Delhi was horrible. At the last minute they changed the gate number n no info was given to us. I was literally running with my luggage and my Olie...then we both fell down. Somehow I managed to reach the gate n we reached guwahati. About the charges...yes not guaranteed to fly with the whole new check in procedure for pet..it was hectic. That too they make you wait for a really long time...i was the last person to board the flight. This time I am planning to fly via Akasa ...I hope we reach Bangalore safely.

      I had to skip my connecting flight. I booked from BLR to Delhi and then will travel on train for about 12 hours. I watched all the videos and came to know never book connecting flights. I am so stressed as I’ll have to travel soon with my pet. I hope everything goes well. 😞

    My travel was from mumbai to banglore date 23 dec with Akasa and our experience was horrible ..they send us away from the boarding gate..citing that bag is 1 inch bigger than required. We pleaded that they let is go, but it fell on deaf ears. Bag could have easily fitted beneath the seat, but they were not ready to listen at all..we tried getting nee carrier from nearby shops but to our surprise all of them said this what akasas does to pet parents last minute they harras the pet parents..it was amazing to find out that whichever pet store we called the first question they asked is it for akasa, and then said they do it every time we keep getting these calls from harrowed pet parents. The bag we had was 29*10*11 imagine just for 1 inch we were not allpwed to board. They did not refund pet charge forget abt our tickets

    I think you should make another video for the comparision, as the guidelines of the AirIndia has been uodated.
    Now they say :
    "They can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and their container is under 7 kg/ 15 l"

    • @nehakushwah8055
      @nehakushwah8055 7 месяцев назад

      as per the guidelines you will need one more person to travel with you to carry another pet.
      "As per DGCA guidelines, we allow only two pets in the cabin per flight. Additionally, each pet must be accompanied by a passenger."

  • @sowmyavarayuri
    @sowmyavarayuri 10 месяцев назад

    According to your video akasa air is best. But it does not have direct flights to many places that air India provide. My pet is 6.5 kgs he can travel only through air India. Is it safe? Will they send my pet into cargo?

    • @AbhishekKhurana25
      @AbhishekKhurana25  10 месяцев назад

      Yes , AirIndia has more reach to almost all the airports in India, its really hard to say whether they will allow or not above 5kgs , i would still request you to travel by train in such cases( 1st class Ac )

      As far as i know two cats are allowed in cabin but you need to check with the airlines if on one ticket it is allowed or not, more over only one cat is allowed in economy class and other cat is allowed in business class, would request you to once read the pet policy document on air India website
