whether they would have died or not, it wasn't exactly smart to just let her wander off into a snowstorm to look for her sister. since sam was uninvolved in the prank it would have been a good idea for her to go. although i guess the point was that beth was pissed at the group for a whole for letting the prank happen and would have been mad at sam for being a bystander even though she tried to stop it hence she ran off without waiting for them, and probably wouldnt have been happy if they had gone with her.
Clementine Rose I disagree, one of the start cutscenes show that her and Beth were being chased by a wendigo, if the entire group was there the wendigo would have time to kill many before the flamethrower guy had time to arrive, or idk, after the attack the survivors flee into the Woods and die (It was a storm after all)
It’s also entirely possible Hannah turned into a wendigo rather quickly, I mean she must’ve been stuck in that mine with Beths dead body for at least long enough to get hungry it was just a matter of time until she turned into a wendigo.

Real life has proven to us that missing people in mountain searches often go down the mountain due to obvious factors like gravity and navigation difficulty, therefore they would have been preoccupied searching that much larger space of forest and valley instead of the mines or the sanatorium on the complete opposite side of the mountain. Remember, Hannah and Beth fell into the deep bottom levels of this mine through a crevasse. The other boarded up entrances and what not had no signs of them entering. Same with the sanatorium.
Story Idea: Hannah’s time in the mines goes as usual, but, just as she makes the decision to eat Beth, a rescue team finds her. Hannah goes home, but the spirit of the Alpha Wendigo, forgot its name, is still within her, resulting in nightmares and a voice in the back of her head that says to feast on flesh. Hannah struggles to keep her humanity or give in to the wendigo. The game would have Hannah influenced by the spirit to go back to the mountain with the others and struggle throughout the events of the story.

So here's my therory either the 12 that survived resorted to cannibalism, or the 18 miners that weren't found resorted to cannibalism and were able to hide/ get out of the mines and became wendigos.
The twelve men DID resort to cannibalism AND became Wendigos, hence why the other 18 miners were never found and how Mike was able to recognize one of the Wendigos toward the end? as one of the miners.

I need help. There is a glitch in my Until Dawn game with Clue 1. When I pick up the film trophie it doesn't count as a clue. Sam just read it and nothing else happen. This is a new playthrough, so the game can't recognize that i picked the clue before however it doesn't trigger the flash and the "Clue found" title. I turn off the game and my PS4 and tried again. This time I tried to pick up the clue in Chapter 5 (when Sam is chased by the Psycho) but it still doesn't count as a clue. Any solution?
