Thanks for this informative video. Very useful indeed. A couple of questions would be if the ink doesn't dry if you leave the markers without using them for a "long time"... Would be interesting to check that. Another useful information overtime would be to know which colours you use the most. Thanks Jen for taking the time for this video.
Love my set. Picked out cockpit detail on a Revell Arado 555 and some crew figures in a 1,72 tiger moth, so quick and efficient. For me, it’s a game changer.
Hello Jen, thanks for “highlighting” these 😂. I have tried them and find them ideal for smaller areas and as I build primarily 1/72 scale aircraft I have found them great for cockpits too. I didn’t get the full set but have focused on what colours I’m likely to use.Not sure if they would be good enough for larger scale kits but I love them 👍 Geoff.
Blimey, glad the demo turned out well as I had pulled the trigger on the whole set which arrives tomorrow 😅 I had seen Phil Flory using Posca pens on cockpits etc and was aware of these pens but hadn’t taken the plunge till now. They will immediately be put to use on my GWH A10C for painting the little gear door struts and going forward be used in World War II cockpits………and all the other uses you mentioned! Great Mig 21 by the way and Happy New Year 👍🏻
I've used them on a 1:72 TSR2 cockpit and pilot figures and they are great. I've also used them for some touch up on cracked decals and I have used them to paint small areas on a Mig-24 type scheme US Agressor squadron 1:144 TSR2 what-if. I understand that there's a second set coming out soon that is more Gundam oriented. For me, we're short of some greys. Along with the Gaahleri Metallic Markers they open up a lot of possibilities and I like not always having to get paint out.
amazingly good Jen ! would be good for doing German "squiggle " camo ! WW2 Japanese flakey green paint with aluminium showing through . controllability is paramount . Loving your '21 what a gorgeous looking aircraft .
I use mine to mark component parts at the sprue gate usually with an S. I am an idiot and got fed up sanding off detailed parts thinking they were said sprue Stubbs 😂

Cheers Jen, Happy New Year!. Thanks for your honest views on these pens and highlighting the full set price anomaly.😊

Great review Jen! Thanks.
I might try the yellow one. I've not had much luck so far with yellow acrylic paints.
AK Real Colour Marker Pens great they need more colours and they are excellent for touch-up work
Wonder could you use them for RAF camoflage pattern and save all that masking?

Happy new year everyone. 2025 is gonna be a ride!!
LOL - I though I was one of the few people on this planet to still say 'piddling around'! 😆
For some reason it's a more polite way of saying something else 🤣
Nice to know they exist but I will stay with good brushes and good paint viscosity.
Hmm... I wouldn't trust those pen tips not getting dry.
(Acrylic paint. I wonder how long would they last...)
Good, aren’t they?
