- Godard Docks and Golden Acres have been accessible for many years, Godard is a lot harder in a server but is still achievable. Golden on the other hand is easily achievable in a server.
PS. I do not recommend doing this against other players as it is technically "exploiting" and could get you banned.

For anyone struggling with the lantern vault to the attic, face towards the lantern (whilst on top of it) and keep jumping and crouching until your feet are above it, not inside it. Took me ages to figure this out. Works on a live server.

Desync on the fish hook makes Godard pretty much impossible on a live server
Yeah, it takes a few more attempts and time, but it is possible.
I glitched off that hook all the time. Found out it's due to my FPS are too low. Swapped settings to low, got 120 FPS, managed to do the jump on the hook, on the shelf and on that 3. spot. After trying to jump on the wooden beam I ragequitted after 30 mins.
The jump on the lantern is impossible for me. :(
@Buhdy I dare you to post a video of you doing this with desync. This video is pretty misleading, desync will force you downward in a normal game no matter your game settings
I feel like it's worth noting that this while a cool find, and a neat glitch, using this in game, especially considering how Crytek reacted to the peacemaker exploit, could get you suspended, though likely only temporarily, so you know, people should use this stuff at their own risk, worst case scenario I can't see them doing much more than just suspending you for a bit

I have one question, I lock my fps in 120, can I do the "barricade fly" only with 120fps?
Not sure, I have my FPS uncapped, pretty sure you need more than 120 (that's why going into dark site improves it). Never tried it with 120 though.

I have seen someone on the roof of Fort Bolden. Do you have any idea how that one works?
That roof was possible, has been modified many times now. Last time I attempted it, it was patched. I will try to find another way and release it if possible.
Either meathead jump or infinite ladder climb.
Everything has been fixed, you can climb onto the lamp, but your leg is lower due to the skyblock and because of this the bug does not work.
That's insane. The "easiest" path at Golden is actually the easiest for me, I can't pull the other one.
Note: Can you do the door path in live servers? I'm actually trying but a weird force is dragging me down
Sadly not, desync doesn't let you fly off the door barricade in a server.

Does the mechanics even allow this? Crouching pulls you somehow down. Can't even get on the lamp at the start on golden.
Deync does pull you down in a server, if you get the jump correctly and keep walking towards the wall when on the lantern you'll be fine.
I would not even be mad if i get shot from that roof.
But the endless camping possibilities inside are crazy....
is that considred like exploit abusing or bug absuing and be ban abel or i can do it in real game no problem ?
Imho only the vaulting through the roof part i'd considered an exploit per se. The fact that you can reach the attic is simply because Crytek didn't clip off the props, but moving through walls are obviously bugs.
It's considered exploiting if you kill other players from these spots. Sadly makes using these bannable in a match.
@@BuhdyThing is, there are many places that are unclear if they should be accessible or not. Like the trees from outside of Madonna's Chapel and Pitching Crematorium, the metal thing you can climb outside of Godard's Dock compound - all are not straightforward, but can be climbed. Same goes for the brick ruins scattered throughout the maps, they can be climbed with a bit of difficulty but it's doable.
So, are these places intended or not? We don't know, because in some cases Crytek went at great lengths to clip props inside compounds [resulting in situations where you can't climb stuff that looks like it should].
What I'm trying to say is that the inconsistent rigor in blocking off unintended locations creates confusion when discussing if accessing them constitutes an exploit or not.
@@DarthZombie510 I think clipping through the wall is where you cross the line between emergent gameplay and bug abuse, but idk if Crytek shares the same view.
@@rogerhill9559Clipping is obviously off limits, at least. It's their past inconsistency that makes the rest a question of whether or not it should be permitted.

I can't crouch on the lantern or stand on it without sliding off. Is this patched out?
Actually, I slide off of everything while you somehow manage to just chill and stand still.

If you're trying to do it in a live server, the desync will try to pull you off. When you jump on the lantern, keep moving into the wall so you don't get pulled down/ slide off.
The one on Golden Acres seems to be patched, just tried it now while waiting for boss to banish, everytime you make the jump on the lantern, you immediately slide down.
Not patched, that's desync. You need to keep moving into the wall when you get on the lantern
@@Buhdy seems to me that you only try these things in trials, i do them first try in trials just like you do, impossible to do the jump in live game..
@@elmoe7318 I've done both of these roofs many times in actual games. If you know what desync is then you'll realise why it's harder. Trials has no desync, making these a lot easier to achieve.
It took me 1 hour to make the first 2 times then another hour for a third time it broke me :D
like getting in the roof by clipping it is the wrong part yeah i agree it should be patched yeah, but all that parkour inside the basement should be fully ingame because no one will do that just to be trapped there

Cant jump onto that thing at 0:24, jumping here for 20 minutes straight
You need to land on the small pixel that lets you stand/ jump, make sure you're moving forwards the whole time.

I feel like the less fps you have, the harder is to make those jumps. Its like the game desyncs you and doesn't let you go on an exact spot. Even vaulting on roofs or far vaultings are harder to work. Maybe its time for an upgrade

Haha, I've known all the roofs for many years. Keeping them as a secret only let's crytek patch things without anyone ever knowing it existed, the reason you never see roofs being patched in patch notes.
tbh, i feel that you should not get banned for being in the attic 1:09, like yea there is a little bit parkour involved and in normal ways you should not be able to get up there, but for me it is kinda the same principel if you are just sitting in a corner with a shotgun and if you miss your shot, you revealed yourselve
Vaulting through ceilings is kinda dirty and exploity, but the parkour to get half-way thru is actually cool and, AFAIK, legal and fine.

i agree, theres so many closed off rooms and obv roof accesses, that would be straight easy content for them to work on, theres no reason to have so many closed off areas, especially after a map is years old. Like the stair tower on kingsnake, why cant we go up there? why even have it there if its not accessible, and it wouldnt be broken as u has only one way up one way down and almost no cover and everyone can see u. why not just let us

I want snipers on every roof so that vanilla players like you stop playing like this is animal crossing.

The way I see it we should be able to vault anywhere. Apex climp system should be in every game (but maybe with a lower climbable height in Hunt's case).
Are those exploits bannable tho ?
If you kill other players from these spots then it is bannable.

The problem with these "expoliots" isnt the player or the exploit themselves. Its that they are going to waste time fixing something 1% of the player base is doing instead of working on actual content
They don't necessarily need to fix these, however, it may motivate them to fix the other bugs that are actual issues. These roofs have been accessible since release, I feel like crytek knows about some or most of these and just doesn't bother doing anything about them. They'll probably rework the compounds or will patch these without ever saying they did.
@@Buhdy U are right, but im basing my rant off how they went out of their way to fix things that werent even exploits in comparison to these, like climbing ruins and simple hop skip jumps that seemed to be spots in the game on purpose just for them to remove one ruin, even though theres 10 of the same on the map and those other 9 work. Or simple things like shooting one of ur dual pistols, there was no reason to fix it and they did. did it hurt anyone? no but they wasted time doing so, at that point its like cutting content. rambling

For golden you can just walk through the part you vault through (where the machinery is).
Hard enough to do this on live servers and most often doesn't worth time spent on attempts
if anyone has been able to do any of these on console hit me up , i just tried and it seems impossible on xbox , i don't know if it's the low fps , the lack of preicision of the stick or the fact we can't seperate jump and vault , or maybe i just suck , but i can't get even close to any of those roofs. Thanks for video anyway , i like those little "secrets" , i hope they wont patch these.
For the golden acres one when you land on the lantern you have to immediately press crouch otherwise you wont be able to do the vault
Without keys split , the vault have to be very precise to make sure your character doesn't jump instead of vault. Makes sense why it's so much harder.
Just can't look at it on Xbox directly, you need to look at it but not directly when jumping. Did it btw

You can get on any roof with meathead jump. You can jump above the map over 1000 meters.

Well that's lame. Not the video - video is solid - but that there are such known glitchy-buggy things that they haven't fixed - in a game where the maps don't seem to regularly change or update (i.e. the level designers shouldn't be THAT damned busy lol). I have enough trouble competing without Mr. 6000 Hours finding a way to hang 30' high in a tree by his testicles 😂😂😂😂
