This is the first fan video I've ever made, so please be kind with comments. I thought it would be fun to pair some of the intimate and romantic moments from the film to a modern love song. I think this version of Jane Eyre is beautiful and very well done despite the fact that it's a little condensed. I absolutely adore Mia Wasikowska as Jane and love Michael Fassbender as Mr. Rochester. Enjoy!

Beautiful video ^^ This is actually my first Jane Eyre. After watching Jane Eyre 2011, I watch bbc Jane Eyre 2006. Michael Fassbender is the best Mr Rochester. Toby Stephens also amazing but for me, its Mr. Fassbender is my choice...

IT's nicely made and u managed to put together all the important secenes with the music. Great job. i think u shudb have been the editor of the movie. u wud have done much better work with it :)

it's weird, i'm surprised the director was satisfied with this... it really ruined the movie for me. but then again Jane was young and inexperienced so maybe is was on purpose.. XD
shacharit22 I wonder how many takes it took to even get the kisses to look like they did. I think it was a combination of Michael not wanting to make her uncomfortable as her acting partner and also what you said about her being inexperienced and having to appear that way. It didn't ruin the movie for me, but it certainly keeps it from being perfect.

hehe i agree about Michael not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable..and also there's an age differences, so maybe it had something to do with that. i also know that if Michael Fassbender wanted to kiss me i would kiss him senseless =P..so......i don't know....
and you are right, i exaggerated, it didn't ruin the movie for me ,but i was disappointed =\ .. i read the book when i was 15 and was obsessed with it. the first movie version i saw was with William Hurt and Charlotte Gainsbourg (1996). i loved it but it wasn't perfect, and since then in every movie\mini-series that came out i felt the same,for different reasons..
still waiting for the perfect one=)

This is my second favorite version of Jane Eyre (my favorite one is the 2006 one). Jane Eyre is my favorite book. This song is from 2012, around the time I met my husband. It was during an early date, and while I listened to this song and he spoke in the background, that I realized I was falling for him. Great paring with these two! Thank you :)
I love that story about falling for your husband. So romantic. So glad you liked the video. I made it so long ago, but I still come back and watch it once in a while to relive the movie in a shorter span of time. I love the story of Jane Eyre…such a quietly intense and passionate love story.

Yes, Jane Eyre is one of those rare stories (especially in our day and age) where you actually see two people falling slowly and deeply in love physically, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. Such a rare wonderful connection. Timeless indeed. Great song choice too!
