    Wow! this is awesome! What a great FPV platform and an amazing design! Great work! 👍👍

    That's a HUGE battery for a plane that small. You must have a high stall speed and excellent cruise efficiency!

    • @richardhallyburton
      @richardhallyburton Год назад +1

      It can take more than that. I have 6S2P 9000mAh in mine (Li-ion)

      @savagefpv1043 Год назад

      @@richardhallyburton Yup it's designed for that. I am running the same pack built from Samsung 21700 cells and it could cruise in forward flight until I'm tired of flying.

    I keep going back to your video. Love that stability. Did you use the STL printed motor mounts or are you using something different?

    • @hobbyconcept
      @hobbyconcept  Год назад

      yes printed stock motor mount design in the STL, but had to reinforce with couple carbon strips. I would print the motor mount with 100% infill if we do it again.

    looks awesome! Can you share wing motor/tilt parts (STL), please? What are motor/props? Thanks.

    • @hobbyconcept
      @hobbyconcept  Год назад

      Build details in video description. Tilt mechanism is part of the plane. STL is from Titan Dynamics.

    Can you share your settings for printing with ABS?

    • @hobbyconcept
      @hobbyconcept  9 месяцев назад

      default Bambu parameter for Polylite ABS, single wall 3% infill.

    • @markroller6323
      @markroller6323 9 месяцев назад

      Thanks! I have had great success playing around with those same settings but using ASA instead. Seems a bit heavy, but very durable.

    • @hobbyconcept
      @hobbyconcept  9 месяцев назад

      @@markroller6323 We are able to achieve similar weights as LW-PLA with minimal infill. Trick is finding that right balance between durability and weight.

  • @frankliu889
    @frankliu889 Год назад

    Why didnt printed by LW-PLA?

    • @hobbyconcept
      @hobbyconcept  Год назад

      We printed the larger Titan Viper with LW-PLA and it was melting under California sun. So this was first attempt with ABS and turned out well.

    How long can this fly

    • @hobbyconcept
      @hobbyconcept  Год назад

      with 6s-5000mah lipo it can reach over 15 minutes flight time in forward flight. Hovering obviously will shorten that down a bit.

  • @carlosperez7015
    @carlosperez7015 Год назад

    Do you use airpseed sensor?

    • @hobbyconcept
      @hobbyconcept  Год назад

      No airspeed sensor needed. GPS estimate is able to transition into forward flight without issue.

    Just a drone with a plane form factor. A waste of a perfectly good (I am assuming) airframe.

    • @savagefpv1043
      @savagefpv1043 Год назад

      Yes please share more of your ignorance with everyone. This is a VTOL airframe that can transition into forward flight like an Osprey V-22.

      @@savagefpv1043 , good to know. Then good work man. It's easy to be ignorant when ignorance is because there was no evidence of that in the video. But, yea, I could have read your description. Maybe you're right.
