@@breakingpar715 just to let you all know that he edits his bad shots to post a good score. This is obvious with the monster numbers he posts in tournaments when he has to count every stroke. You can’t shoot 82 in a tourney and the next week post a round in the 60’s on your RUclips channel. It’s 🧢

Persell is not long...no reason to not to move back....If you were playing Beth page black I would get it.
You play up to score low in order to build confidence. Scoring low gets you over the hump.
I play the reds a couple times a year. Not always easier to play up depending on the design.

Safe to say; the swing coach is working. This is the best driver day in a year for Micah.
Idk why it hit me so hard, because it's not a complete parallel to my experiences, but talking about working construction, grabbing some old clubs from the pawn shop and following your dream is so inspiring to me Micah.
I know some people hate and miss you on Good Good and everything else, but I think you seem like a great guy and I'm happy for your success and your chance to follow your dreams.

I have to appreciate how far Tig's mental approach has come. He played a great round but still left quite few shots out there but he didn't let that affect them and focused on creating a good outcome instead of the circumstances or focusing on a bad shot. He also appreciated and acknowledged when he executed a shot well and used that to his advantage. Phenomenal mindset to have.

I think sometime people do not realise your journey, no silver spoon, access to golf or easy route. You worked damn hard at every stage and you are now reaping the rewards of that amazing attitude to life and grafting.

Micah saying he didn't start golfing till 16 gives me hope for my golf game. I didn't start playing til I was 13 and I feel like I am behind most golfers my age, but watching this gives me hope that despite starting late, I can become like Micah someday!

Man i gotta say it, i had almost stopped watching you because of your negative vibes when you aren't playing your best. But your last vids are showing how your outlook is changing. Your bad days on the course are what most of us dream about having on our best days. Keep working on your mental game and you will be unstoppable!
It's a nice change of pace to see when he's dialed in. But when playing with others, he needs to stop chirping at everyone else and focus on his own game.
"Course might be in danger today". Absolutely manifested brother. Played with my dad today watched as his mind absolutely devastated his game. This on the other hand... "You're kitchen was clean" we would say. Love the driver confidence right off of #1. The game is truly mental and you mentally attacked that course. brother Cheers.

Gotta say, glad the mental game seems to be getting better. I get the exact same way you do when I play comps/matches with friends. Changing my mental approach has helped me have way more fun and also just feel looser at comps I have been playing in recently. It's good to be critical of yourself to a degree but you are also good enough that you can pull back strokes easy. Keep up the solid content man!

I can relate, ever since I picked up the game I’ve been obsessed. It’s taken me so long to improve but I wish I’d picked it up earlier than my mid 20s. Love the game and I’ve considered starting a golf YT channel just for funsy but I’m nowhere near as good as you but just know you’re an inspiration to some of us!

This is amazing, love the series, I may have missed it but u should mention at the start of the video what par is on the course like 72 or 73 or whatever and maybe even a tracker, but all props from here this is awesome, by far favourite series on the tube rn.
Keep playing tournaments and placing yourself in some pressure situations. That experience is what gets you to the next level. Love seeing the 5 wood in the bag ❤

He’s at the top of his ability. He’ll never be more than a 4 handicap. Which is fine, he just needs to realize he’s nowhere near a mini tour player. Just lacks the ability and golf course IQ.
@Mike Iones Obviously you have never played sports at a high level. It's the fire that makes the steel hard. The hotter the better. Starting out most fail under pressure, but learn from the mistakes. Micah has the tools to go low. He doesn't have that skill under pressure yet. That's why guys in their 30's dominate professional golf. It takes that experience to become a champion. Will Micah become a champion and be able to go low under pressure... I'm here to watch the journey...
@@mikeiones a great caddy can go a long way in tournaments. Micah just needs to find one and trust them completely. Maybe would give him a chance at winning some
@@dylnjess I was a caddy after high school and knew my course really well. I feel a good caddy is worth 3-5 shots on a course you are not familiar with.
Micah has one of the most genuine golf personalities on RUclips. A lot of other guys will be super energetic and upbeat the entire round, but Micah has a much more relatable approach and attitude to his game. It's like playing with a buddy, good stuff.
He has the personality of a leather belt but he’s fun to watch play lol
@@alexgarcia7104 I agree.. if I was his PR guy, I would help him with this side. I know he tries, but he comes across as arrogant and def only child vibes. I need to lower my expectations with Micah, and not place him in the YT entertainer golfer group - this will probably help my judgement of him.

I have a feeling the pace of play helped your game. I know I tend to have a better game when I can keep a good pace. You didn't have the other distraction and time consuming issues of other players and "creators". Makes a difference. Well played out there. Keep the positive attitude, and fill your memory with these positive swings and outcomes. 👍
Great content Micah. I really appreciate your language. I like to watch with my 3 year old, so your clean language is very appreciated. If I can give any advice. Find 2 attacking yardage numbers. Get extremely good at those and always have them into a pin. Best of luck in the future.

Micah - - best I have seen you hit it in awhile! Stay aggressive and use the driver whenever you can, it is your biggest asset. Three pars on Par 5’s, this could easily have been a 63/64.

That 4 under front nine was just a ridiculous nine. Really good eagle putt. Stupid bogey and 2 close birdies off the edge. Could’ve been -6 or -7 realistically which is nuts. I admire your game tig. And being a shorter guy like you it’s inspiring to watch you swing. I’m 20 and only been playing since I was 17. I am now a scratch golfer.

Live an hour away from this course and shot my lowest round ever here at a 75.
