i actually avoid dressage riding because of the fear of ending up like rafael soto who got to a very high level of dressage but ended up with a terrible body possition. a possition ideal for dressage riding but estetically not desireable for my gusto.

It's been a really (and I mean Really) Long time since I smooched a horse's nose, let alone scrambled into a saddle? I gave it all up due to disability, but the mind/body remembers...
When I do the leg exercise my left leg won't go very far back. I feel it working my glutes but the movement is restricted. I do yoga and some hip stretches but obviously I need more help targeting this area. Any other stretches you can recommend?
