Thank you so much! I’ve been working on my posture and I bet this will help even more! Also, If you ever run out of video ideas, can you please do more things with mini pony’s? I own one and he’s a good boy sometimes but usually naughty. I lead him and jump him a lot. He disrespects me and will bite sometimes when we transition into the canter. ( he will also buck/kick at me ) And I have no idea how to lunge him. I try but he just comes towards me every time. I’ve seen the desensitizing video and I’m going to do those soon. With him disrespecting me, he will go way ahead of me and it’s hard to slow him down, he will turn his butt to me, bite me, and again, kick and buck. I’ve tried to find videos on RUclips but no one really does a lot of things with minis. My pony is 7 and I’ve only started working with him this year. He jumps around 2’0, so we’ve made progress. But on bad days he sets it back a lot. He will misbehave and I get after him so he won’t do that. Then he’s mad at me for the rest of the “lesson” and won’t listen to me at all. Do you think I should stop after he’s mad? I don’t want to let him walk all over me.. should I do more groundwork? But he won’t listen! Please help I’m so lost!!

I needed this so bad! i’ve been riding for about 2yrs and for all those years i’ve been sitting the canter but i’ve switched instructors and she only allows the light seat canter so it’s like i’m having to re-learn the canter all over again and this will really help! and if possible, (i know you did a video on it before) can you make a video in depth about how to ride 2point in the canter? i love your videos btw and have been watching them forever!❤️ they’ve helped me a lot cause my horse doesn’t have the best ground manners and your tips are just what i needed and she’s already improving!☺️

    Tips
Thumbs up on the reins so your elbows don't jut out. Hold the riding crop horizontal to gwt used to this
Stretch your knee away from the stirrup as long as possible
Look ahead so your horse also looks ahead
Stand up on the stirrups as long as possible. Try to do it as the horse walks
