Just bought a 2014 Chevy Spark 56,000 miles. It’s been a great winter car in Michigan so far with winter tires and it’s a manual too. Getting 40 miles to the gallon and it cost $14 to fill it up love it.

Sonic seem to be pretty rare and we don't get to see them often, I think this would make good for the channel and views but you know best, but I'd seriously think about getting that Sonic just to mess around and get some views but at the same time it's an amazing parts car so if you come along the line of another Sonic that needs some parts especially if it's red you're golden, that's the main reason why I'd get it and keep it but then again you always don't have the room or the time so it's really a big choice that's up to you

On the 3.6, it's probably the roller rocker eating into the camshaft. It's a common issue on 3.6's but it's an easy fix

All the title classifications and what you can do with each one varies a great deal from state to state.
All the Mopar products that have that 3.6 motors have lifter issues. Every single one of them. It just depends when they want to start ticking and tapping. It happens when maintenance isn’t done on time or they just start giving out at high mileage.

That red Chevy spark was a toe behind. That’s what those metal brackets coming out of the front of the car are four. Somebody was towing it behind a Winnebago and something damaged the car. That’s what I think.
That sound on the T&C sounds like the vacuum pump my darts also doing that same thing and thats what it is

Randy that Hyundai Tuscan from what I could see and hear seems to be either the gas may be bad or maybe an injector partially clogged. It could be an issue with a coil pack but I think the engine is ok and it won't be a big deal to repair. If it was closer to me so I wouldn't have to pay a fortune in shipping I wouldn't think twice about getting it if it went for a fair price.🤠
I junked a car once in Connecticut. I brought the title to the junk yard. The guy photo copied the title stamped the photo copied, copy junk. Gave me the stamped junk photo copy, which I turned into Connecticut DMV with the plates. A month later, I saw the car driving around with Oklahoma plates on it.

Florida, Oklahoma, Missouri, and maybe a couple more states have "you shall never put this back on the road" titles. CT has Salvage, rebuilt, or clear titles just like most other states.
Someone bought your salvage title vehicle and ran it through the state inspection process to get a rebuilt title. Then they put it back on the road.

Randy the problem is that people don’t want to pay the membership fees and extra costs to buy a car one time from a place like IAA. I have nothing against cars for kids but some people also aren’t a fan of that organization because they supposedly are very lop sided with the children that they help.

That Spark has tow bar attachments on the front. it was probably a "toad"..... Towed behind a motorhome. If so, it may have some fuses removed or kill switches to allow safer towing.

Randy, the 3.5L/3.7L in the Ford/Mazda vehicles have an internal water pump that sometimes leak into the engine when they go bad, especially the early years.

Shame about that little Spark. It's even a loaded one with all the options. The manual ones are fun to throw around and you get 40+ MPG on the highway.
The Santa Fe. could have cranked funny because the lifters had collapsed from sitting for a long time. That, and it looked like the oil was over filled.

Randy, you could get that Spark registered in Nevada. Nevada will accept an out of state junk title as long as the chain of ownership is known (Carfax report), must be inspected by an authorized body shop, inspection location, emissions station if vehicle is being located in an emission required county in Nevada. Then you can get I believe a salvaged or rebuilt title. The best part of that vehicle is it is a tow vehicle, which means the mileage on the odometer isn't what the true driven miles are, it would be way less than what is shown.
I think the car was junked when they saw the badge on the back lol.

That minivan sounds like it has a bad torque converter, or possibly a bad solenoid... Bad torque converters whine like that... It could be a transmission pump issue as well... I believe that van is nice enough to warrant the repair for someone... The Spark situation is sad... If you would like learning how I have controlled my blood pressure, I can give you a list of items, and instructions for this... I am not sure I want to publish them here...
No, you cannot directly "turn" a "Junk" title into a "Clean" title; a "Junk" title indicates a vehicle is considered too damaged to be legally driven on the road and typically requires extensive repairs to be considered roadworthy, meaning it would need to go through a specific process, often involving inspections and repairs, to be eligible for a "Rebuilt" title, which is not the same as a "Clean" title.
There is no tapping on that Chrysler. You would hear a ticking not tapping from it. That 3.6 is fine with 200000 with no noise it’s decent

Could the tapping noise that you hear louder inside of the vehicle with the 3.6 be one of those heating-AC system motors with the plastic gears? I had an impala that had that noise and it was a #35.00 motor that ran a heat door under the dash.
You should get a dealer license and sell online.
There are big differences between states.
You folks in Missouri and Oklahoma and several other states out in that General vicinity actually have a junk title brand.
If you bring it to a state that doesn't have the junk branding you can put it back on the road as a rebuilt vehicle in that state.
If someone in Oklahoma bought it from you after you put it back on the road elsewhere they could NEVER register the thing in Oklahoma.
You as an Oklahoma dealer wouldn't ever do that.
JR or somebody like him parting it out is the only option in Oklahoma.

you can here in the Washington state here you go the law on it. To license a junk title in Washington state, you can use the Junk Vehicle Affidavit provided by the Washington State Department of Licensing. Contact your local licensing agent if you intend to retitle this vehicle and operate it after completion of repairs14. If your vehicle is destroyed or declared a total loss, you or your insurance company must report that the vehicle has been declared salvaged and surrender the title to the Department of Licensing2. Washington state law requires salvage title vehicles to undergo a thorough inspection by the Washington State Patrol before they can be titled for road use again5.
I mean to be fair.... a Spark was junk when they were new on the dealership floor! 🤣 Honestly though - a lot more cars have been getting "junked" simply to get them off the road - its part of the government's push for electric cars, make the parts more expensive, harder to get, and reduce the supply of alternatives. IT's all about the $$.

Maybe the Sonic was junked due to a theft recovery or some kind of Insurance fraud or high speed chase with law enforcement. Some insurance companies at least in my state will call a car seized in commission of a crime or high speed chase are deemed to have a junk title.

Hey Randy in my opinion the Chrysler 3.6 is absolute junk. I've never heard one that didn't have a ticking sound in the engine like that. A friend of mine has a 2015 Dodge journey that did the same sing and she ignored it until it left her stranded on the interstate. One of her lifters came apart and grenaded her timing chain and one of her camshafts. She had to pay $2,500 for a partial engine rebuild and then it was quiet for about 2 months and now the other side of the engine is tapping. The 4.0 with the timing belt is a much better engine and I know how you feel about timing belts but to me it's just a maintenance item and a lot less problematic than the 3.6

Hope your health improves Randy! Thank you for all you do. I have long said that the new car industry is the biggest scam ever perpetrated on American consumers. Where else does the auto industry, the insurance industry, and the banking industry all collude to engorge themselves at your expense like pigs at a feeding trough (a surprisingly accurate analogy). That cheap car payment is the bait on the hook. The banks will require you to carry full coverage on the car before they will finance you (thankfully you can drop this later, but then you're on the hook for anything that happens to the vehicle), and with today's car prices, that finance plan is typically a balloon payment at the end, often for far more than the car is worth at the end of the finance term. Thousands of dollars owed for a car that may be worth only a few grand at the end of the term. Huge scam. I am shocked that this sort of collusion wasn't outlawed years ago, but that just illustrates how pervasive the insurance and banking industry is at persuading lawmakers to look the other way while consumers are being ripped off all over the place. Just my $.02 Thanks for listening.

Those Kia and Hyundai engines are prone to damaging spark plugs and coils. If the coils are cheap, they don't last long.
You could get it as a parts car after finding another one to use the parts from it oh tho in the end it may not be worth it.
