  • In this video, we have the chance to walk through the 2011 Alibi 54 "Difference". I first did a walk through video of this boat a couple of years ago when she was hauled out at Grenada Marine. This time she is in the water at Port Louis Marina on the Caribbean island of Grenada. This beautiful Alibi 54 performance catamaran is not only fast, she is also a work of art!
This boat is priced well considering the level of performance and luxury she provides. The Alibi 54 Difference is located in Grenada - a great place to start your cruising adventures!

Let me know if you have any questions about this boat or any of the other boats we have listed here in Grenada. I am a broker with The Multihull Company and would be happy to answer any questions you might have about buying or selling a catamaran here in the Caribbean. Beam winds!

Do you think Balance took their Versahelm idea from this build??

Could have been a predecessor. Though to be honest Balance has really nailed it on the 526. I am working on a video I shot about the steering system on the Balance 526 - I need to get it wrapped up and published!

What a great fast cruiser, love the adjustable helms, tuck down for when beating into 25 knt of rain at 3am! The main thing though is well done for giving us an informative walk through, 10 times better than most of them, nice to have someone who knows his s*&$ for a change!

Mookie - I'm flattered! Wiley is a friend of mine (I've known him since before he was a yacht broker). But no, this is Chris from LTD Sailing - "Living The Dream". We run an ASA sailing school and yacht brokerage in Grenada, West Indies! BTW - I'm looking forward to telling Wiley someone thought I was him! Let me know if you have any questions about this boat or any of the others we have listed.

Nearly perfect boat. Only question is that dinghy setup. I guess its for weight balance? I have a feeling that having the sheets getting tangled every tack or gybe would be annoying ;)

Eddie - I agree that the dinghy setup could be an issue. Definitely for weight balance - much better than hanging that much weight off the back of the boat. I don't think that the sheets getting caught up would be that much of an issue - definitely need to be aware - but I think that they would stay clear the way they are ran. What I am leery of is how much trouble it might be to raise and lower it. But, I guess like everything - you would figure it out and get used to it.
