Matsuri is one of the Haatons who couldnt really accept Haachama being the main personality and always dreamed of the days of old. The calm night Minecraft streaming Haato. Now it is all Haachama.

@@venkaramon Well she was the one Haachama visited and brought along a spider to eat not long after she returned from Australia. Matsuri is pretty accepting but she does prefer Haato over Haachama.
@@venkaramon I better clarify what i meant, Haato is her, Haachama is also her. Haachama is more a persona she created to cope with stress living in foreign land, and then the Coco thing happened, around that time was when Haachama goes down the deep end.
Haato was her in the past, present and future. She has also accepted Haachama as a part of her now, not as crazy as she was before. She is still trying to cope with losing Coco tho. The one that shows up at the 3rd fes was clearly Haachama.

I remember haato sama, cute girl with yabai fanbase (i wondered why they're like that). But wasn't really into her at the time cause of Aqua and Shion and sometimes Matsuri and Pekora. Got interested after "my feet stinks" and the vomiting clips of her.
I think I've missed something here ... I though they finally co exist just like Ayunda and Risu ... But it wasn't ? ...

This is weird to me since the first signs of "Haachama" were in a late 2019 minecraft collab with Matsuri in the first place. It's true she didn't fully change over until way later but still, you were there when it started!

@@clintongriffin2077 "こy" reads as "kowai" which means 'scary'.
Originally it is spelled as "こわい” (ko-wa-i) but Matsuri typed it as "こy" (ko + y) where the letter "y" is read in normal english thus the whole word also reads as the original word.
I thought it was an incomplete or type word by Matsuri, but it did actually makes sense.

I know that, over time, Haato has become HAACHAMA, and HAACHAMA is now the dominant personality, but (at least in my mind) the battle for control still rages on. Haato confronting the face in the mirror that is HAACHAMA, the Edward Hyde to her Henry Jekyll.
With that said, this is how I interpret said battle for control:
(Context: After Haato’s evil alter ego, HAACHAMA, kills her bestie, Nerissa, Haato decides to confront HAACHAMA about it, so she confronts herself, and sings a duet.. with herself.)

It's actually understandable. The first time I watched Haachama stream archive, was that one singing stream in 2020 (if you know, you know). After a few more "lore" videos, i actually got nightmares and sleep paralysis. But after a few months, i realized she actually such a sweet girl before that happened. Still sweet tho, just not as apparent.
She's long dead I'm afraid. Haa-chama has been in control for years already.

so, what is the Haachama lore atm? i was keeping up when she was having that arc back when she was building that massive wooden structure in Minecraft but lost track afterwards
officially she was a normal tsundere girl.
while Haachama is her lost twin sister.
her vids only tell that, Haachama didn't wanted to separated from Haato.
but Haato didn't remember who Haachama is.
so Haato always freaked out when her phone ringing.
she is afraid that Haachama comes.
while in their reality, Haato's personalities vanquished and replaced by Haachama when the phone started to ring.
later on in her vid, tells that Haato finally remember who Haachama was.
Haachama somehow died or passed away although they promised to take care of each other.
from this, it is unclear what's happened next since her vids give birth to many theories.
one of fans theories that might closer with the truth to the whole of the story is :
Haato can not accepted the fact that her sister no longer with her, so she went insane and start copying Haachama personalities like Haachama were never gone. which later become a mental sickness that Haato and Haachama become persona that didn't know each other in order to forget the memory of her loss, which later forget who is Haachama completely.
the reasson why Haachama didn't acknowledge Haato and vice versa.
that is the fans theory based on her vids lore.
both personality then try to take over one another, to gain full control of her body.
everytime the phone ringing, their personality switched.
but then they made an agreement to coexist.
by coexist, in Haachama vids was Haachama decapitated Haato's head and sewed her own head on Haato's body.
Haachama never explain about this horror scene which made fans have their own theories again.
many says it's not literaly killing each other but more into a symbolic of their personality still struggling how to coexist... yet, in conclusion or the ending is always one personality erased another.
thus many fans says it's a bad ending.
Haachama indeed a genius one, she seems forsaw this would happened, so she made several ending
although she struggling with policies and certain situation that made her hard to continue her lore stories.
the last ending were happy ending.
both Haachama and Haato didn't erased each other and take care each other instead,
even though now they shared one body.
while all seems to over,
fans once again find something odd.
it is already over but one mystery sparks.
many says, it was Haato who passed away.
and the one who had crazy personality actually Haato, not Haachama.
Haachama is the calm and sweet ones.
well on this point, no one knows.
Haachama really are a creative person, even her lore give birth to many possibilities.
at least that what I got from community back in the day.

This is just me spitballing here but I wonder if Matsuri and Haachama were really close in the beginning of Gen1 and onwards. That could explain why it's hard for her to call her something else. She knew her for so long and was really close as 'Haato' and now it's just hard for her to change from that.

nowadays, if i am fully caught up in the haachama lore, haato and haachama are coexisting in the same body. 'one body, two souls' or something, right? (sorry, that was a bad reference.)

Lore aside, I think it's sweet that Matsuri is the only one who still calls Haachama "Haato-chan". It's like when your childhood friend refuses to call you by your real name and calls you by the embarassing nickname only your family uses (tho in this case it's the opposite lol).
Also reminds me of the times at the beginning of Hololive when Matsuri was the only real yabai Holomem and got scolded frequently while Haato was the perfect idol management wanted the next gens to follow. Tho of course we all know how that ended lol
I think it's nice that someone still acknowledges and thinks fondly of Haato separate from Haachama. Matsuri is literally God. Haachama has no power over her

I know in japan a lot of non-japanese religious symbolism is seen as kind of gimmicky, or maybe just not understood. and I know haachama is playing a character, or at least mostly is. AND I'm not exactly a 'believer'... but the direct satan imagery, as funny and entertaining as she is, even as a gag is disconcerting.
