I’m with you I have health issues as well but if the flight is an hour or 2 I go ahead and go, any longer I will be in pain. Why do you try to see if you can do at least 2 hour flights until your health improves. God bless you.
I only just found Rick Steves and I am hooked! We‘ve downloaded his audio guides for our next trip to Italy and are binge watching everything. It’s wonderful, so much to catch up on. Like going on holiday every evening!

I’m sitting here with Rick Steve’s guide to Germany, planning my trip, and wondering, is it pretentious that I have a favorite brand of travel guides? Either way, my favorite is Rick Steves. Lol. He gives fantastic, honest advice that really helped me tour Amsterdam and will one day help me on a trip around Scotland.
I would love to see Rick do a lighthearted backpacking tour of neighborhoods in Mogadishu and some wine tasting in the Congo while telling us about global warming! Would add some much needed diversity!

Is it my imagination, or has this been sped up by 10% or more, compared to your older videos? Do Americans have shorter attention spans than 10 years ago? Just makes the viewing experience a bit more stressful and hyper, whereas normally we watch this show for relaxation.
The old castles now look very nice and restored, but hundreds of years ago were infested with mice, rats and disease. Looks romantic now, probably wasn't back then 🙂
