Another great video! I so enjoy them, I love your cross stitch art but equally enjoy listening to your life updates! Your Chatelaine is sooo stunning, your stitching is so beautiful. Thanks again for sharing x
It was great to watch your video and see all your progress- and haul! Your chatelaine is a stunning work of art, and the threads for it are all so gorgeous. It's huge! When you brought out that frame I just thought, 'wow'! 😲😄 I remember so well that slightly sad feeling of leaving your small child at nursery for the first few times, and then those blissful hours of freedom that seems like such a guilty pleasure. You'll soon get used to it, lol!
I have to laugh. I'm a pharmacist in TN. I worked retail for years before I switched to a Specialty pharmacy. Holiday weekends and natural disasters make for LONG days at a pharmacy. Especially when all the fills come back refill too soon! Glad to have found you on flosstube!
The fabric for the just nan item is likely discontinued due to it being one of her older designs. I own that item somewhere in my stash but don't have it in front of me now. My suggestion is to pull the DMC for it then take it to a shop & try to get a blue within that DMC color family, in an effort to match it. I also collect JN items & it's a running joke that i collect her stuff but never stitch them. There are many over inflated eBay sellers that profit from her things & that's fine. But after buying two or three at outrageous prices over the years I've learned to wait. They almost always come around at a better cost eventually. I'm honestly burned out on the mouse design as i own over 10 of them. But i still buy em. LoL just prefer not to get so many after awhile. When/if you stitch it, i hope you share hints & tips. LoL I greatly appreciate your informative videos & hope you give more info about the "small stretcher" you mentioned? (You said it makes your threads lay better?) Oh & hoping Dorian doesn't affect your area too bad. Take care

Thank you! It's so hard to leave them when they're so sad. Hopefully he'll start doing better soon

Yes! They are the worst! I survived but was wiped out when I got home. Glad to see a fellow pharmacist on here!

It’s a hair straightener I use to iron them. I’ll show it in my next video. Meant to grab it but forgot. Thanks for advice on the fabric!

I would contact xjudesign on etsy. She can dye whatever custom color you want. I can't recommend her enough.
Thank you! I’ll check her out
