    Your work is amazing! Love the close up looks and explanation of the stitches. I never new there were so many fancy stitches in this art. When I'm caught up on all my need to stitch projects I would like to give a chatelain design try. I recently got back to cross stitching and I'm still working my way up to using linen again. Thank you for posting your beautiful work.

    Your stitching is beautiful! I'm finishing up a portion of the winter fairy chatelaine banner and was considering starting a mandala. I've been putting it off because I was worried about getting bored with the repetition, but you've convinced me, it's time!

    Unbelievable! Every time I watch your channel, I get the itch to start my "Serengeti Mandala." These close-up shots of the stitching - exhilarating. Thank you for continuing to inspire me to be brave and put that first stitch in (and seriously accept that it should be done on linen and not the 16-count Aida I contemplated). I dream of one-day (it may take me six years) when I can proudly display my finished piece.

    I love your chatelaines ❤. What you should do to stop it slipping out is sew a channel either end to fit the dowel rod into then it can't slip out

    Well, Elena, you just cost me a fortune! I’ve been looking for something a bit more challenging than cross stitch and the Sparkling Peacocks Chatelaine is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s gonna be several months before the kit ships, but it’ll be well worth the wait. Thank you for opening the door to a new stitching journey. Also, which frame do you use?

    • @stitchingpharmer
      @stitchingpharmer  6 месяцев назад +1

      They are such a joy to stitch! So glad you took the dive and ordered one. I use the Quantum frames by Omanik. If you're in the US you can order them through Hobby House Needleworks or Lindy Stitches. They're pricey but I love them. Happy stitching!

  • @Ninagsing67

    Ok I'm still learning. Heard the terminology, but what exactly is a chatelain? Is there a special purpose for it in Needlework? This is gorgeous

      I think a Chatelaine is something to attach to your belt. I’m referring to the designs by Martina Rosenberg here though. She designed many beautiful cross stitch patterns before passing a few years ago. chatelaine.de

    I am waiting for my kit for Flower Fairy Mandala and oh woow ❤ how did you manage to get in on 80 cm bars? What is your margin?

    • @stitchingpharmer
      @stitchingpharmer  6 месяцев назад

      The fabric is 28 inches (71 cm) so I still have a bit of room on each side. It's been a fun stitch! Enjoy!

    I'm always willing to try something new. But looks like they're stitched on linen only. Can they be done on Aida?

    • @stitchingpharmer
      @stitchingpharmer  6 месяцев назад

      I think it would be difficult to stitch on Aida. You would have to pierce the fabric quite a bit to do a lot of the specialty stitches and some designs also have over one. I think linen or an evenweave is a better choice for Chatelaines.

    • @Ninagsing67
      @Ninagsing67 6 месяцев назад

      Thank you. I'm venturing out now on linen and evenweave. Soon as I feel a little more confident, I'm definitely trying one of these designs. They are just gorgeous.

    What size rods did you stitch this on.Can you recommend the best frame and rods to stitch these on?

    • @stitchingpharmer
      @stitchingpharmer  5 месяцев назад +1

      I use quantum frames by Omanik. Lindy stitches sells them in her shop online if you’re in the US. I like to use the 80 cm by 20 cm. I’m not sure if that size works for all mandalas but that’s what I’m using for fairy flower garden
